Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods, systems, and apparatuses for rapid geographic search in an actor-based geographic search network comprising a quadrant manager, an aggregator, and a cell actor set. In one embodiment, an apparatus is configured to receive a geographic query by the aggregator from a computing entity, where the geographic query comprises point of interest (POI) coordinates data associated with a P01. The apparatus is configured to transmit the POI coordinates data to the quadrant manager from the aggregator. The apparatus is then configured to determine a quadrant instance set associated with the quadrant by the quadrant manager, where each quadrant instance of the quadrant instance set comprises a quadrant instance coordinates data set representing a collected or distributed geographic area.
Various methods are provided for identifying geographic areas having elevated supply and demand levels based on an elevated number of service providers and mobile devices in a geographic area utilizing location services. One example method may comprise identifying a geographic region comprising a pre-defined number of merchant devices, receiving location data associated with a plurality of mobile devices, determining that the number of mobile devices meets a predefined threshold number of mobile devices required in a particular area for the particular area to be considered hot, and classifying the geographic region, comprising both the pre-defined number of merchant devices and at least the predefined threshold number of mobile devices required for the particular area to be considered hot, as a hot zone while those numbers continue to meet the predefined threshold number of mobile devices required in a particular area for the particular area to be considered hot.
Various methods are provided for facilitating access to linked information to GPS or short-range wireless equipped devices. One example method may comprise receiving, via a network, an indication of an interaction between a primary device and a third-party device, the indication comprising at least a first element and a second element, the first element indicative of user identification information and the second element indicative of at least one of a location or a bounded region, determining, as a function of at least the first element and the second element, a data object that upon validation is configured for use a subsequent interaction, and transmitting, to a mobile device, an electronic communication comprising an indication, configured for rendering on the mobile device, of the data object.
Techniques for improved mobile application architectures and service communication protocols are discussed herein. Some embodiments may include a mobile device configured for providing a mobile application including multiple service applications. The service applications may execute asynchronously and in separate containers, providing service orientated architecture (SOA)-like services with respect to other portions of the mobile application, or even external applications. The separation of a monolithic mobile application into separate service applications provide advantages in terms of application performance, development, and maintenance. For example, a subset of all service applications may be started up, and executed on demand to improve device resource utilization efficiency.
Techniques for programmatically interfacing with mobile chat sessions are discussed herein. Some embodiments may include one or more servers configured to: access the mobile chat session hosted by the mobile chat server; receive input chat data from the mobile chat server; determine promotions scores of candidate promotions based at least in part on the input chat data; and provide the output chat data to the mobile chat server including an electronic marketing communication of one or more promotions selected based on the promotion scores. The one or more servers may be further configured to programmatically interact with chat accounts within the mobile chat session, such as to request additional search terms for improved promotion relevance targeting, among other things.
Techniques for providing consumer device interfaces are discussed herein. Some embodiments may include a system, including processing circuitry configured to: connect with a consumer device via a network; provide a search interface to the consumer device; receive one or more search parameters form the consumer device via the network; determine card scores for candidate cards based on the one or more search parameters, wherein each card includes an electronic marketing message indicating one or more items; determine a card score ranking based on the card scores; determine whether the consumer device is a mobile device; and in response to determining that the consumer device is a mobile device: determine mobile card layout; generate a mobile interface based on the mobile card layout; and provide one or more of the candidate cards to the mobile interface based on the card score ranking and the mobile card layout.
A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided for electronic transactions based on a reply message. In the context of a computer executed method, the method includes receiving a message, from a sender device, including a reply to buy (RTB) identifier associated with a promotion and a RTB validation code. The method also includes authenticating, using a promotion and marketing service host, the RTB validation code, associating the message from the sender with a recipient identifier, and causing the transmission of a purchase order message to the recipient device based on the RTB identifier.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FACILITATING A TRANSACTION USING A COMPOUND CONSUMER INPUT
ABSTRACT Embodiments provide a computer-executed method, a computing device, and computer program product for facilitating a transaction. The method includes transmitting instructions to cause a representation of an item to be displayed on a consumer interface rendered on a touch-screen visual display of a computing device. The consumer interface presents an icon associated with the representation of the item. The method also includes receiving, at the touch-screen visual display, an indication of a compound consumer input associated with a consumer and associating the compound consumer input with the item by detecting that at least a portion of the compound consumer input occurs at a position on the touch-screen visual display corresponding to a position of the icon. Based on a determination that the compound consumer input corresponds to a purchase command, the method includes retrieving information previously stored for the consumer; generating an order to purchase the item for the consumer; and transmitting an order confirmation configured to be displayed by the computing device.
