A combination generally directed to a combination computing device (102) and game controller (162). The computing device (102) provides a plurality of sides, in which each of the sides are disposed between an electronic display screen (110) and a back (112) of the computing device (102). The game controller (162) provides a communication port (310) interacting with the computing device (102), the communication port (310) providing a communication link (270) and a pair of confinement structures (316), the pair of confinement structures (316) adjacent to and confining the computing device (102) on at least two opposing sides of the plurality of sides of the computing device (102), and an input device (114) attached to and in electronic communication with the communication port (310). The input device (114) is a separate and distinct structure from the communication port (310), forming no structural portion of the communication port (310).
