The present invention relates to a locking element (42) to be insertable into a cartridge chamber (420) of a firearm, said locking element having a proximal end (220) and a distal end (260). The locking element comprises an outer sleeve (14) with a movable operating element (16) provided therein, wherein the sleeve (14) comprises a (first) diameter such that the sleeve (14) is snugly insertable into the cartridge chamber (420) from the cartridge chamber side, but said diameter being larger than the diameter of the barrel (6) of the firearm. The operating element (16) is provided movably within at least one blocking element (18), and the operating element (16) is formed and provided such that when the operating element (16) is moved within the sleeve (14) into the direction of the proximal end, the operating element (16) causes the at least one blocking element (18) to be urged radially outwardly and be pressed against the wall of the cartridge chamber (420) thus blocking the cartridge chamber, wherein the at least one blocking element (18) is pressed further against the wall of the cartridge chamber (420) if external pressure is applied from the distal end to the operating element (16). The locking element further comprises an actuator which is adapted for temporarily fixing the position between the operating element (16) and the outer sleeve (14).
The present invention relates to a safety device for a firearm (42) with a trigger bar (2) in said firearm. The trigger bar (2) moves in response to a pulling of a trigger (1). An actuator (20) in said firearm is adapted to actively move said trigger bar (2) between a first position and a second position. The trigger bar (2) engages in the trigger induced movement with a hammer link (3) for releasing a hammer and firing a cartridge bullet when the trigger bar (2) is in the first position or first state. However, said trigger bar (2) does not engage in the trigger induced movement with the hammer link (3), such that the cartridge bullet is not fired, when the trigger bar (2) is in the second position or state.

The invention relates to a handgun, especially a shotgun, comprising an optoelectronic safety system. According to the invention, an electronic sensor device (11, 14) is respectively associated with the gun lock (6) and/or the cartridge chamber (4). As soon as the weapon is ready to be fired, a light (15) is illuminated.

The invention relates to a device for storing a firearm, comprising a base, a securing unit for securely storing a firearm on the base, and a control element. The securing unit can be engaged at least partially with a barrel bearing and/or a cartridge holder of the firearm and comprises a first securing section which can adopt a secured state, in which the first secured section is held securely in the firearm, and in a released state in which the securing unit can be separated from the firearm. The control element sets the first securing section in the released state once a user has been authorised.
