The cigarette filter according to one embodiment of the present invention reduces 70% by weight to 95% by weight of tar and nicotine, respectively, due to cigarette smoke. The cigarette filter according to one embodiment of the present invention has resistance of suction in smoking of 80mmWG to 200mmWG. In the cigarette filter according to one embodiment of the present invention, the lyocell tow is filled in the cigarette filter at a packing density of 0.2 g/mL to 0.6 g/mL. The cigarette filter according to one embodiment of the present invention solves the material problems of the lyocell tow, such as hardness, and furthermore has excellent filtration functionality as a filter.
