The present invention relates to an air filter housing (1) having at least one filter chamber (2, 3) for receiving at least one filter unit (F), an access opening (4, 5) in a side wall of said housing leading to said filter chamber, a door (6,7) for closing said access opening and a clamping device (10, 11) for holding said at least one filter unit in abutment against a first end wall of said filter chamber. According to the invention a portion (16) of said clamping device is, when a filter unit (F) is held by said clamping device (10, 11), sealingly in abutment with a circumferential portion (15) of the wall of said housing (1) in the second end of said filter chamber (2, 3) so that air or decontamination gas that has passed through the filter unit (F) can not enter the filter chamber outside of the filter unit.

The present invention relates to a cleanable filter (1) for particulate material, especially dust, comprising a zigzag pleated filter pack (2), spacers (6) disposed between the pleats in the filter pack and a frame (3) having an upper (4) and lower part covering the respective upper and lower side of said filter pack that contains the ends of the fold lines and two lateral parts covering the opposite sides of said filter pack that contains the ends of the filter medium (5) zigzag folded into a filter pack, said frame (3) thereby leaving the opposite sides of the filter pack that contains alternate fold lines of the pleated filter pack, free for the passage of air. According to the invention the filter medium (5) in the filter pack include a pleated sheet of polytetrafluorethylene (PFTE) and the spacers (6) between the pleats consist of corrugated aluminium foils. An earthing element (7) furthermore electrically connects the aluminium foils to each other and to an earth connection on the outside of the filter frame (3).
A pocket filter assembly comprises a frame structure having a number of filter pocket openings (3) and a corresponding number of filter pockets (2), each filter pocket having a pocket mouth sealingly secured in a corresponding filter pocket opening. The present invention relates to an air filter unit (1) having the shape of a tube comprising a top plate (6), having an air inlet (7) leading into the interior of the tube, whereby the top plate (6) includes fasteners (13) for removably attaching said air filter unit to a wall (2) so that the air inlet of the top plate is concentrically disposed in relation to an opening in said wall, and a sealing ring (14,15) of a resilient material surrounding the air inlet in the top plate. According to the present invention, the top plate (6) includes at least one protrusion (16) on the side thereof facing said wall (2) in use, the height of said protrusion (16) being less than the distance with which the sealing ring (14,15), when not subjected to load, projects out from the surface of the top plate.
The present invention relates to a frame (4) for an air filter unit comprising a filter package (1) and possibly at least one grid (2,3), said frame being built up of elongate elements (5) having flanges (7,8) along the long sides thereof. The present invention relates to a wall (1) of a frame for an air filter unit having a length direction and a cross direction perpendicular to the length direction and two long sides extending essentially in the length direction and two short sides extending essentially in the cross direction, said wall comprising a handle (2).
