Techniques are directed to operating a utility vehicle having global positioning system (GPS) circuitry and a geofencing data repository. Such techniques involve receiving, from the GPS circuitry, GPS output that indicates geolocation. The techniques further involve updating geofencing data within the geofencing data repository based on the GPS output that indicates geolocation. The techniques further involve, after updating the geofencing data, providing control to the utility vehicle based on the geofencing data within the geofencing data repository.

A propeller blade assembly including a propeller blade having a leading edge, and a trailing edge extending between a tip and a hub, and an electrically conductive band extending longitudinally on either or both of the leading edge and trailing edge. The electrically conductive band secured to the leading edge of the propeller serves as an entry point on the aircraft and conductive channel into the airframe thereby avoiding the potentially damaging effect of the lightening on the carbon fiber composite propeller.
Disclosed is a method for controlling the flammability of fuel vapors in an aircraft main fuel tank that is located in whole or in part in the fuselage contour. The method comprises a fuel system architecture and fuel consumption sequencing maintaining liquid fuel in said main tanks during all normal operations. Ceasing the withdrawal of fuel from the main tank when the fuel reaches a predetermined level thereby limiting the volume and flammability exposure time of the fuel vapor ullage. Once the predetermined level is met the fuel is supplied from wing tanks throughout the remainder of the mission. The predetermined main tank fuel level at which wing tank fuel begins to be consumed is determined by the aircraft flight reserves fuel volume stored in the main tank as well as the amount necessary to continuously submerge the main tank fuel pumps during the entire mission.
An audio tone probe is provided for use by a technician to identify a conductor carrying an applied tracing tone signal. The audio tone probe includes a probe tip which is positioned by the technician proximate a conductor. A mains warning circuit and a tracing circuit are provided in communication with the probe tip and a speaker is provided in communication with the mains waming circuit and the tracing circuit. Signals detected by the probe tip are provided to the mains warning circuit and the tracing circuit. The mains warning circuit is configured to determine whether a mains signal is present in said detected signal and to activate a warning generator if said mains signal is present. The tracing circuit is configured to filter mains signals from said detected signals and an output of said tracing circuit is utilized to provide a tone generating signal to said speaker.
A console for aircraft that is located between two seats which face each other. The console includes an open ledge with a cup holder arrangement. The cup holder arrangement includes two removable holder dividers which can be flipped up or down and held into position by a spring-loaded cam arrangement. The console also includes two inwardly facing surfaces which provide connectors for electronic devices resting on the ledge. A light-emitting face is provided on a back wall of the ledge so that any articles resting on the ledge can be seen in dark environments.
A method for evaluating the integrity of a cable shield utilizing wideband noise- to-ground measurements is provided. Upon determining that trouble with the cable shield exists, a method s is provided to isolate the location of the trouble with the cable shield. The method utilizes access locations along the cable and therefore docs not require opening of the cable shield to isolate the trouble in the shield.
A device for dispensing fish tape includes a pair of outside walls and outer and inner annular walls depending generally perpendicularly from the edges of the outside walls. Intermediate pinch ring walls depend generally perpendicularly from the outside walls and are positioned between the inner and outer walls. A plurality of spaced apart protuberances are provided on the intermediate walls and engage undulations on a hoop of a winding belt mounted within the device, Λ fish tape is mounted within the device and engages with the winding hoop. Bach outside wall has a flat section extending from the outer edge thereof toward the inner edge thereof, and a raised section extending from the flat section to the inner edge.
