Adjustable firearm mount apparatus and method of mounting a firearm
An adjustable firearm mount apparatus includes a main support. The main support includes a base end and an adjustment end opposite the base end. A longitudinal axis extends along a length from the base end to the adjustment end. At least one first mounting section is configured to interface with a first portion of a firearm. At least one passageway is defined in the main support and extends in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis. An auxiliary support is slidably connected to the main support nearer the adjustment end than the base end. The auxiliary support includes at least one elongate member received in the passageway and at least one second mounting section configured to interface with a second portion of the firearm.
Highly specialized and high-end modular, magazine-fed, centerfire rifles not including .22 caliber firearms such as .22LR firearms and not including .22 caliber pellet guns; airsoft guns not for recreational use, not including .22 caliber airsoft guns or .22 caliber pellet guns
A bolt control device for causing the bolt of a firearm to be held in a retained position after each round is fired, the bolt control device capable of being manipulated by the user to also release and return the bolt to a firing position so that the firearm may be used to fire an additional round.
An upper receiver of a firearm including a body with an interior, an opening for a barrel extension, and one or more engagements for communicating with a lower receiver of a rifle; a high wear area located on the interior of the receiver; a relief cut at the high wear area; and a wear plate fit within the relief cut of the high wear area located on the interior of the aluminum body, the wear plate having an expose surface.
A bolt action rifle with safety latching mechanism has an upper receiver including a movable bolt assembly, a lower receiver having a trigger assembly and releasably attached to the upper receiver, the bolt assembly movable between a cocked position and an uncooked position, and the upper receiver and the lower receiver including a latching mechanism operable to prevent the lower receiver from being detached from the upper receiver while the bolt assembly is in the cocked position.
A bolt action rifle with safety latching mechanism has an upper receiver including a movable bolt assembly, a lower receiver having a trigger assembly and releasably attached to the upper receiver, the bolt assembly movable between a cocked position and an uncocked position, and the upper receiver and the lower receiver including a latching mechanism operable to prevent the lower receiver from being detached from the upper receiver while the bolt assembly is in the cocked position.
A gas-operated firearm has a barrel defining a bore with a gas block defining a chamber communicating with the bore via a gas passage. A gas regulation element has a first position and a second position, and serves to provide different gas flow characteristics in the different positions. The latch element gives the user audible or tactile feedback upon installation of an accessory device when the gas regulation element is a correct position suited to use of the accessory, and not when in the other position unsuited to accessory usage. The accessory may be a sound suppressor, and the latch may serve to secure the gas regulation element against position change. The latch may engage a circular array of elements on the rear face of the suppressor, and may have an angled cam face to provide ratcheting engagement for installation, and to resist removal or loosening without deliberate actuation of the latch.
A firearm has a body with a bolt assembly reciprocating within the body. A barrel having a bore extends from the body. A gas block with an elongated chamber is connected to the barrel, and a gas passage connects the barrel bore to the gas block chamber. An operating rod has a forward end portion closely received in the gas block chamber and a rear end positioned to operably engage the bolt assembly. The gas block chamber has a forward portion closely receiving the forward end portion of the rod, and the gas block chamber has a rear portion with a profile larger than the forward portion. The forward portion of the rod may be a cylinder, and the rear portion of the gas block chamber may be fluted to provide clearance for flushing out contaminants. The rod may rotate freely to prevent accumulation of contaminants.

A rifle telescope has optics having an optical axis, a scope support portion that supports the optics, and a base portion that mounts to a firearm having a barrel axis. The scope support portion has at least two different settings, each setting providing a different angle between the optical axis and the barrel axis. The invention may also include each setting being a discrete fixed setting. The present invention also includes a method for adjusting the angle mount of an adjustable rifle telescope with multiple fixed angle mount setpoints.
A semiautomatic rifle has a housing defining a housing axis and containing a bolt assembly that reciprocates along the housing axis. The bolt assembly has a bolt carrier and a bolt, which reciprocates axially with respect to the carrier. A barrel is connected to the housing, and has a rear portion having a locking chamber that removably receives part of the bolt. An arm element interconnects the bolt carrier and the bolt, and operates to extend the bolt in response to rearward movement of the bolt carrier within the housing. The arm may be pivotally connected to the bolt carrier. The bolt may include a rod external of the bolt carrier, having a rear end contacting the arm, and a forward end contacting the rear of the barrel.
