An air-conditioner (100) is provided with: a refrigerant circuit (Q) where a refrigerant is circulated sequentially through a compressor (11), an outdoor heat exchanger (12), an outdoor expansion valve (14), an indoor expansion valve (15), and an indoor heat exchanger (16); and a control unit. The control unit causes the indoor heat exchanger (16) to function as an evaporator, freezes the indoor heat exchanger (16), and causes the indoor heat exchanger (16) to function as a condenser without stopping the compressor (11) after the indoor heat exchanger (16) has been frozen, or closes or opens to a certain degree the indoor expansion valve (15) by stopping the compressor (11) after the indoor heat exchanger (16) has been frozen, the opening to the certain degree being less than the full opening of the indoor expansion valve (15).Classes IPC ?
