Abstract

Disclosed is an alumina ceramic containing a Ba0.808Al1.71Si2.29O8 phase.  The alumina ceramic has excellent light reflection performance and is useful as a light-reflecting material for light-emitting elements.  In particular, the alumina ceramic containing a Ba0.808Al1.71Si2.29O8 phase, wherein the intensity ratio between the peak at a diffraction angle (2θ) of 43.3˚ and the peak at a diffraction angle (2θ) of 22.5˚ in the x-ray diffraction is within the range of 0.5-2.5, exhibits excellent light reflection performance.  The alumina ceramic has particularly excellent light reflectance of light having a wavelength of 300-400 nm.

Abstract

A rubber composition for recovering releasability from compression molds. The composition is used to impart releasing properties to a mold surface after a fouling substance resulting from the step of molding a curable resin has been removed from the mold surface. The composition contains, as a base resin, an unvulcanized rubber comprising an ethylene/propylene rubber and a butadiene rubber in a proportion of from 90/10 to 50/50 by parts by weight, and contains a specific release agent. The unvulcanized rubber is an unvulcanized rubber which, after having been vulcanized and cured, has an elongation of 80-800%, a tensile strength of 3-10 MPa, and a rubber hardness (durometer hardness) of A60 to A95, and which has a 90% vulcanization time as measured at a mold temperature of 175° (proper vulcanization point), tc(90), in the range of 50-100 sec or 200-400 sec.

Abstract

Provided is a wiring board for mounting a light emitting element thereon, wherein wiring conductor (5a, 5b) for driving a light emitting element (1) is formed on a base body (2). Abstract

This invention provides a mold cleaning rubber composition for removing soiling on the surface of a mold produced in a curable resin molding process. An unvulcanized rubber is used as a base material resin. The unvulcanied rubber comprises an ethylene-propylene rubber and a butadiene rubber at a mixing ratio of 90/10 to 50/50 on the basis of parts by weight. After the vulcanization curing of the unvulcanized rubber, the elongation is 80 to 800%, the tensile strength is 3 to 10 MPa, and the rubber hardness (durometer hardness) is A60 to 95. The 90% vulcanization time (proper vulcanization point) tc (90) at a mold temperature of 175°C is 50 to 100 sec or 200 to 400 sec. When the mold cleaning rubber composition is used for cleaning for molds for the production of small-size packages having a large cavity depth, for example, PDIP or SOIC, and molds for the production of small packages, particularly small packages with a small number of pins, preferably, the mold cleaning rubber composition contains a release agent in addition to the unvulcanized rubber having a tc (90) value of 200 to 400 sec.

Abstract

A retroreflective object having a retroreflective element layer in which a large number of cube corner retroreflective elements of total internal reflection type are disposed. In the back surface of the retroreflective element layer, an optical characteristic adjusting layer is partially provided, and in the back surface of the optical characteristic adjusting layer, an air layer is provided. Abstract

A resin composition for cleaning molds and recovering the release properties of molds which can remove not only stains of a cavity, a runner and a gate but also stains of an air vent and a parting area of a mold and can impart release properties to the surface of a mold. The composition comprises a melamine resin, at least one metal soap type mold-releasing agent, and preferably mannitol and/or a mold-releasing agent other than metal soaps.
