Abstract

In a method for filling a predefined cylindrical container, a closed filling valve is moved with its filling tip through the container opening into the container. A gas contained in the container is displaced or compressed in the container. The container opening is sealed about the filling valve; the point in time of sealing determines a pressure in the container. The container is filled by opening the filling valve to allow fluid flow. The end face of the filling valve is below a fluid level in a radial gap volume between container wall and filling valve. Upward movement of the filling valve is adjusted according to predefined control parameters; filling occurs below fluid level in that the fluid level is above the end face of the filling valve. The filing valve is closed upon reaching the predefined filling volume. The closed filling valve is removed from the container.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for filling a container and to a filling arrangement consisting of a filling device and of a predefined cylindrical container (2), the concentric container opening (21) of which has a diameter (dDo) that is 70 to 99.5% of the container inside diameter (dDi). The filling device is equipped with a filling valve (1), which has a piston (10, 100) controllably guided in a filling tube (11, 112). The filling device serves to fill the cylindrical container (2) and, for this purpose, has an outside diameter (dFa) that is coordinated with the diameter (dDo) of the container opening (21) such that a filling tip of the filling valve (1) is received into the container (2) without friction and, to the extent possibly, without play. In the container (2), the inserted filling tip of the filling valve (1) occupies a volume (VF) that lies in a range of 49 to 99% of the container volume (VD). The method, which is carried out without a vent tube and substantially without measuring means, is based on the fact that the filling valve (1), when received in the container (2), displaces a corresponding gas volume out of the container (2) or compresses a corresponding gas volume in the container (2), and then the filling valve (1) is opened and is moved upward in a coordinated, controlled manner in such a way that a lower-layer filling process is achieved, in which the fluid level always lies above the end face of the filling valve (1). The predefined filling volume in the container (2) is achieved when the upward motion is ended, and thus the filling valve (1) can be closed and removed from the container (2).

Abstract

In a method for filling a bottle, a balloon body extends through an axial through bore of a cap and is connected seal-tightly with an upper circumferential rim to the cap above a radial opening of the cap. An elongate support associated with the balloon body is connected to the cap. Balloon and elongate support are inserted into the bottle. The cap is positioned at a spacing above the bottle neck to form a ring-shaped intermediate gap. Air contained in the bottle interior is forced out through the intermediate gap by inflating the balloon body with an expansion medium. Subsequently, the cap is fluid-tightly fitted on the bottle neck. The expansion medium is allowed to escape from the balloon body and liquid is supplied through radial and axial openings of the cap into the space between outer surface of the balloon body and inner bottle wall.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for filling a fluid into a container without using measuring means and to a filling apparatus therefor which comprises an attachment having a predetermined volume VA, said attachment comprising a valve attachment which has a gas valve and a liquid valve with a valve seat in a housing. Said valve seat surrounds a displacement element that can be moved along the longitudinal axis relative to the housing, and forms an annular gap. According to said method, the attachment is tightly placed onto a container (1) while the displacement element is inserted into the container (1). When the liquid valve (5) is opened, the filling fluid flows into the nominal volume VN of the container (1), and said nominal volume is flooded with the filling fluid; the liquid valve is then closed. The displacement element is withdrawn from the container (1) and the flooded remaining volumes top up the contents in the container (1), the volumina VVA and VFV equaling the volume VRohr of a portion of the displacement element in the flooded portion so that identical containers (1) are filled with identical fill levels.

The first valve seat (7) is stationary and the second valve seat (8) can be moved in a valve longitudinal direction. The closing parts (9, 10) are arranged on a common carrier (11) that can be moved along the valve longitudinal axis. The valve attachment (2) has at least three construction units that are separate from each other, wherein a first construction unit (21'), which is arranged at an end of the valve attachment (2) facing the container (1, 1') to be filled, comprises a first housing part (21) and the valve seat (7) for the valve (5), which valve seat is comprised by the first housing part. The second construction unit (22'), which is arranged at an end of the valve attachment (2) facing away from the container (1, 1') to be filled, comprises a second housing part (22) and the valve seat (8) for the valve (6). The third construction unit (23') comprises the closing parts (9, 10) and the carrier (11). The construction units (21', 22', 23') can be moved in relation to each other in the direction of the valve longitudinal axis. The invention further relates to a filling device that uses the valve attachment (2) according to the invention, a filling assembly, and a filling method and a draining method in which the device according to the invention is used.
