A pair of doors is pivotally connected to the container to open and close access through the opening and adapted to close off a portion of the bag passing therebetween, the doors being pivotable from a closed position in which the doors meet to close the access through the opening, to a first pivoted position in which the doors are pivoted away from the inner cavity, and wherein One of both doors is or are pivotable to a second pivoted position toward the inner cavity. An actuation mechanism operatively connected to at least one of the doors to bias the at least one of the doors to the closed position.

APPARATUS FOR PACKING DISPOSABLE OBJECTS INTO AN ELONGATED TUBE OF FLEXIBLE MATERIAL
An apparatus (10) for packing disposable objects (55) or material into an elongated tube (18) of flexible material. The apparatus defines a bin (1) having a holder (15) adapted to receive a cassette (17) of flexible unfoldable material (18). A closing mechanism (25) is positioned below the holder. The closing mechanism (25) includes first (27) and second (31) portions. The second portion is biased in a closed position against the first. The second portion (31) has a receiving surface (34) and is slidable from the closed position to an open position through the application of a substantially downward force (56) against the receiving surface (28, 34) and is slidable from the open position to the closed position under the action of a biasing force. The closing mechanism (25) in the open position defines a passage between a top opening (13) of the bin (1) and a bottom portion (5) of the enclosure (2), and in the closed position closes the passage.
An apparatus for forming waste containing packs from a length of flexible tubing is formed of a housing having a top portion, an intermediate portion and a lower portion. The top portion displays an opening to receive waste material therein and a cassette containing a package of a flexible pleated tubing. The intermediate portion has a retractable guillotine-type member sealingly contacting the tubing dispensed from the cassette and extending downwardly into the lower portion of the housing. Retraction of the member causes waste material received in the tubing of the upper and intermediate portions of the housing to be dispensed in a closed end tubing in the lower portion of the housing.
