Abstract

An air duct component includes first and second volute members. An inner end of the first volute member includes a volute tongue. A cross-flow air duct formed between the first and second volute members includes a middle air duct section and an end air duct section arranged along an axial direction of the cross-flow impeller. The middle air duct section includes a middle air outlet duct. The end air duct section includes an end air outlet duct. For some air conditioners in the related art, air unevenly flows in a whole length range of the cross-flow air duct, resulting in airflow abnormal noise. In the present application, the cross-flow air duct has a variable section design by proposed specific solutions, such that the airflow loads are substantially the same in the whole length range of the cross-flow air duct, thereby improving the airflow abnormal noise.
