Abstract

The invention relates to a piston diaphragm pump with a leakage control function. The aim of the invention is to provide an improved leakage control. This is achieved in that as part of the invention, a control unit is provided in the region of the diaphragm, said control unit being activatable by the pressure of the diaphragm during a suction stroke, wherein the control unit is hydraulically connected to a supplemental leakage valve, via which a buffer liquid can be dispensed into the piston chamber of the piston diaphragm pump. According to the invention, the position of the diaphragm is not transmitted mechanically via a control rod and a rocker arm but rather hydraulically. This allows an efficient leakage control to be carried out without the spatial and mechanical limitations of the prior art.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a valve, a pump valve and a pump comprising a pump valve. The guidance of closing bodies in valves is an unresolved problem that can lead to considerable costs and often frequent failures of valves and thus pumps in the pump- and process industries. The aim of the invention therefore is to provide a valve, more particularly a pump valve, and a pump comprising a pump valve which do not exhibit the known disadvantages. This aim is achieved, inter alia, by a valve comprising a valve housing in which a valve seat and a closing body that can move axially relative to said valve seat, are provided, the closing body being radially connected to the valve housing via at least one element consisting of a flexible material, whereby the closing body is radially connected to the valve housing at least at two mutually axially spaced clamping points by means of at least one respective element consisting of a flexible material.

Abstract

The invention relates to a double hose-diaphragm process pump comprising feed valves disposed in cassettes. In order to simplify and speed up the dismantling of the feed valves in double hose-diaphragm process pumps, according to the invention a pivoting device is provided, to which the feed valves are each connected and about which the feed valves are pivotable in a hinge-like manner out of an operating position, in which said valves are axially centred in the cassette, into a maintenance position, in which said valves are pivoted out of the cassette. A hydraulically activated tensioning device is provided for pretensioning the feed valve(s) in the operating position to the necessary sealing pressure. In the maintenance position for example a valve inspection or a replacement of parts of the feed valves or the entire feed valves can take place. The tensioning device enables the feed valves to be pretensioned in an axially defined manner in the operating position so that the necessary sealing pressure is attained. Then the respective feed valve is fixed in said position, for example by means of adjusting screws.
