Abstract

The present invention relates to a fuze for aerial ammunition, which can be positioned on the rear area or front area of the aerial ammunition. The fuze comprises an arming delay system that allows the delay time to be set before launching the ammunition. The fuze also comprises: a power supply system for electronic devices; a percussion arming mechanism; a safety catch comprising a removable safety pin or bolt, the removal of which triggers the arming of the fuze; and elements that protect the fuze and people against potential accidents, such as a deformation wall that prevents the arming or destruction of the fuze in the event of accidental falls, a blocking mechanism that prevents the fuze from being set prematurely, a non-aligned firing pin that prevents same from being activated for any unintended reason, and a safety cover that prevents the explosive train from being inserted prematurely. In addition, the present invention relates to an adapter device that allows the fuze to be disposed inside the aerial ammunition and the fuze safety catch to be repositioned on the external area of the aerial ammunition, an extension cable connecting the fuze to the adapter device on the tail or elsewhere on the bomb.

Abstract

The invention aims to provide functional advantages for a 40-mm-calibre grenade launcher, using a design and development method to decide on the features to be fulfilled. Some of the functional advantages include adaptation to four types of rifle (Galil AR, Galil ACE, TAVOR and M16A1-A2). The launcher also has functional advantages in the firing mechanism, reloading mechanism and opening mechanism thereof, and likewise includes accessories that enable individual use (not attached to another weapon) such as a butt, a rear grip and a front grip.

Abstract

The invention comprises, in a single weapon, functional advantages related to ergonomic design, an independent firing mechanism, an ambidextrous safety and uncocking system (in which the uncocking system in turn misaligns the percussion system and disconnects the trigger from the lever that actuates the firing mechanism), an ambidextrous magazine release system, a loaded chamber indicator, an adjustable rear sight, and accessories such as exchangeable grip complements with variable ergonomics and a disposable part that corresponds to a protective cover for the Picatinny rail; said functional advantages being designed, preferably for a double-action, semi-automatic 9-mm-calibre handgun, with reloading by short direct recoil. The barrel, the runner and the mechanism box of the present development are made of high-strength steel with heat treatment and surface covering, and other components such as the frame and certain components of the magazine are manufactured using high-strength engineering polymers. The present development can be produced in three models, referred to as "tactical", "standard" and "compact", the difference between the three depending on the overall length of each model.

Abstract

The invention relates to a single gun that incorporates functional advantages associated with a case-extraction and -expulsion system and design characteristics that strengthen the system and make same more practical. These functional advantages were developed in a 12-, 16- and 20-caliber long gun, preferably for a single-shot gun. This development solves the problem associated with the extraction and expulsion of the case that stays in the chamber after each firing. In addition, a ratchet system has been developed that allows controlled mechanical opening and subsequent expulsion under the action of a spring.
