Abstract
An outboard engine ballistic protection system is provided that can be adapted for use with existing small water craft outboard motors. A mounting band circumscribes and is affixed to the power head cowling. The mounting band may be formed of a pair of symmetrically affixed band straps that may be impinged about the cowling and secured fore and aft via a fastening mechanism. Laterally extended struts are provided offset from the port, starboard and aft sections of the power head. A panel support is perpendicularly affixed at an outer terminus of each strut. Mounted to the panel supports about an outer perimeter are a port protection panel, a starboard protection panel, and an aft protection panel. Each protection panel forms ballistic barrier system providing low weight, high energy absorbing structures and materials for ballistic protection against projectiles from munitions and/or shrapnel.

Abstract
A portable vice affixed to a work bench comprising a pair of independently positioned jaws for clamping a horseshoe. A hand-operated lever simultaneously controls the interjaw distance of a pair of independent jaws gripping two differently contoured horseshoe surfaces. Two parallel stanchions are disposed symmetrically of each independent jaw pair, with each jaw pair comprising a movable jaw situated above a stationary jaw. A slidable carriage encloses a spring for each independent jaw pair and is retained laterally between the pair of parallel stanchions and vertically between a top spring retaining plate and a bottom carriage plate.

Abstract
A shooting range booth is provided having a pair of upwardly extending spaced apart multi-ply walls and a frame element for attaching to and supporting the walls in upright positions. Each walls has a frame connecting inner panels and having outer ballistic resistant plates. The ballistic resistant plates are formed of interlineated layers of modified polyethylene materials and layers of carbon nanotubes between adjacent modified polyethylene material layers. The instant abstract is neither intended to define the invention disclosed in this specification nor intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way.

Abstract
A composite ballistic shielding material is formed utilizing ribbons of randomly-oriented film, laid up or woven in bias plies. The sheet plies are made narrow strips of PVC films are held side-by-side and rigidly framed as a square, into a thin layer, and then trimmed. The strips may be approximately 0.010″ wide. The formed up layer is then immersed in a low-hardness thermosetting liquid glue and laid down as a first ply. Subsequent plies are made by repeating the same process, and adding the step of rotating the frame to a pre-determined angle before laying down the ply onto the previous ply. When a pre-determined number of layers or a desired thickness is achieved, the lay-up is transferred to a press for curing into panels. The instant abstract is neither intended to define the invention disclosed in this specification nor intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way.
