Abstract

An apparatus for filling and sealing bags intended for containing banknotes comprises a generally parallelepiped-shaped container (10), with side walls (11), a bottom (12) and an upper lid (13) provided with an opening (14) for allowing entry into the container of a bag (15), made up of flexible plastic film, and of bank- notes (17) intended to be introduced into the same bag. The apparatus further comprises a pair of sealing bars (21a, 21b) arranged at the upper end of the container (10) and a system for controlling and moving the bars between their respective opening and closing positions. The control and movement system of the sealing bars (21a, 21b) comprises a motor (26) for driving a shaft (27) adapted to rotate at least one driving pulley (28) arranged below in correspondence with a vertical edge of the container (10), a kinematic connection for closing the bars comprised of a combination of cables and tension springs (29, 29', 30, 30', 31, 31') connecting the driving pulley (28) to the sealing bars (21a, 21b) and a kinematic connection for opening the bars comprised of a combination of cables and tension springs (33, 33', 35, 35') connecting the sealing bars (21a, 21b) to a respective fixed anchor point (34, 34') of the container (10).

Abstract

A machine for depositing and dispensing coins comprises a first portion (11) containing devices for reception of the deposited coins and for recognition and sorting of the coins based on the denomination thereof, a second portion (14) containing a plurality of internal hoppers (15) intended to selectively contain the coins sorted by denomination and a third portion (16) containing coin processing means for processing the coins in the dispensing step, a seat (17) being present in said third portion (16) for the temporary housing of a till intended to be filled with predetermined compositions of coins of the various denominations coming from the internal hoppers (15). The machine also comprises coin conveying means adapted to receive, at said seat (17), coins coming from the internal hoppers (15) or from the recognition and sorting devices and to convey them to a higher zone (28) of the machine. A coin path selector (31, 131) is present at the end of said coin conveying means to said higher zone (28) of the machine, the coin path selector being movable between a first position wherein it enables the conveyance of the coins into an internal collection container (32) and a second position wherein it enables the dispensing of the coins outside the machine.

Abstract

An automatic device for storing and dispensing banknotes of a preset number of denominations comprising an inlet (12) for the banknotes, recognition means (13) for recognizing the denomination of the incoming banknotes, a plurality of LIFO roller magazines (14-16) for storing the banknotes, an outlet for the banknotes (18) , conveying means (17) for conveying the banknotes between the inlet, the magazines and the outlet, control means (20) suitable for controlling the conveying means for transferring the banknotes from the inlet to the magazines during the depositing step and transferring the banknotes from the magazines to the outlet during the dispensing step, characterized in that the magazines (14-16) are smaller in number than said preset number of banknote denominations, the control means (20) comprising means (21-23) for storing the sequence of denominations stored in each magazine and means for controlling the conveying means to transfer the banknotes from one magazine to the other in function of the stored sequences and a dispensing request entered in the device, to enable the banknotes to be dispensed from the magazines to the outlet according to the request.
