Abstract

Disclosed are an automobile seat cover capable of releasing a safety air bag and a sewing process of a seat cover. Air bag blow-up edges (5) are sewn, and the air bag blow-up edges (5) are arranged at sewing positions of a seat cover side cloth (4), a seat cover backrest cloth (1) and a seat cover rear cloth (3), a braid with a width of 4 MM is sewn at the air bag blow-up edges (5) using an air bag bottom thread (8) and an air bag upper thread (7), and to improve an ordinary computerized sewing machine, the number of stitches and the stitch length are strictly controlled by biasys computer software, and the tension of the air bag bottom thread (8) and the tension of the air bag upper thread (7) are strictly controlled by a tension controller so as to achieve an optimal effect of the air bag blow-up edges (5). The upper half part of the seat cover is integrally sewn, ensuring that seat air bags can be completely released even if the seat air bags are arranged at different positions. When an automobile has an accident and an air bag is ejected, the air bag blow-up edges (5) will be blown up by the air bag immediately, such that the ejection of the air bag will not be affected, and the safety coefficient of the automobile will not be reduced.
