Abstract

Provided is a program for operating a computer. This program causes a processor of the computer to execute: a step for successively sensing movement of the body of a user; a step in which, on the basis of the sensing results, an avatar corresponding to the user is presented to the user in a form allowing the surface shape of the user's body to be perceived, instead of presenting an actual image capturing the appearance of the user; a step in which, on the basis of the sensing results and in association with the avatar, a location is specified, the location being where a graphic object serving as a guide for the movement of the user's body is to be rendered; and a step for displaying the graphic object at the specified location.

Abstract

A problem to be addressed by the present invention is to provide a technology which measures blood lipid concentration with improved precision. The problem is solved by, when computing a scattering coefficient, assessing whether detected light has been transmitted through blood, and computing the scattering coefficient of the light which is assessed as having been transmitted through the blood. Specifically, provided is a non-invasive biological lipid measuring instrument which measures lipids in blood within a lifeform, said non-invasive biological lipid measuring instrument comprising: an irradiation unit which irradiates light of a prescribed light intensity from outside of a lifeform toward the interior of the lifeform; a light intensity detection unit which, through the scattering within the lifeform of the irradiated light from the irradiation unit, detects the light intensity which is discharged from the lifeform; a scattering coefficient computation unit which computes a scattering coefficient of the light within the lifeform on the basis of the light intensity which is detected by the light intensity detection unit; and a lipid concentration computation unit which computes lipid concentration on the basis of the computed scattering coefficient. The scattering coefficient computation unit assesses whether the light intensity which is detected by the light intensity detection unit has been transmitted through the blood within the lifeform, and computes the scattering coefficient of the light which is assessed as having been transmitted through the blood within the lifeform.

Abstract

Provided is a wastewater treatment method that: remedies the drop in purification performance caused by clogging of filter beds, a problem that arises when using artificial wetlands to purify wastewater having high SS concentration, BOD and COD, especially organic wastewater, and by minimizing the increase in the number of steps required and the expansion in the required surface area of the artificial wetlands due to an increase in BOD and COD load, makes it possible to treat wastewater, particularly organic wastewater, with minimum labor and low environmental load. The wastewater treatment method provided comprises: a floc-forming step in which a polymer flocculant is added to wastewater to form floc; a solid-liquid separation step in which the floc is subjected to solid-liquid separation to obtain separated water; and a purification step in which artificial wetlands are used to purify the separated water.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for extracting lithium contained in a brine, in which: i. a first evaporation rate (T1) of the brine is defined, said rate being less than the evaporation rate enabling undesirable salts to be precipitated; ii. some of the initial brine is fed into an evaporation tank, and the concentration of the brine is controlled by stopping the evaporation when the evaporation rate of the brine reaches the first evaporation rate (T1); iii. a mixture is then formed by reinjecting the concentrated brine from the previous step into some of the initial brine; iv. steps i through iii are repeated, the initial brine portion being replaced with the mixture until a lithium-enriched brine having an evaporation rate equal to a predefined second evaporation rate (T2) is obtained; and v. precipitation of lithium contained in the lithium-enriched brine is brought about.

Abstract

An analyte information detection device comprises: an analyte information detection unit (31) which is provided with a sensor attaching part which has an opening in a location that abuts an analyte, has a cavity therein that communicates with the opening, and forms a space structure in which the cavity is closed when mounted on the analyte, and a first sensor which detects a pulsatile signal based on pulse wave information of a blood vessel in the analyte as pressure information that originates from the pulsatile signal, is input through the opening, and is transmitted through the cavity; and a first frequency compensation process part (61) which performs a frequency compensation process, in which gain in the low frequency band is amplified, on a detection signal detected by the first sensor. The first sensor is a microphone which inputs sound signals from outside. The analyte information detection device outputs signals processed with the first frequency compensation process part.
