Abstract

[Problem] To provide a golf glove having a good wearing feeling. [Solution] A back member of a golf glove comprises a main part 10. The main part 10 comprises a base layer 34 and a constraint layer 36. The base layer 34 extends over the whole main part 10. The base layer 34 is formed of tricot. The constraint layer 36 is laminated on the base layer 34 and bonded to the base layer 34. The constraint layer 36 partly covers the base layer 34. In the main part 10, an area wherein the base layer 34 is covered with the constraint layer 36 and an area wherein the base layer 34 is not covered with the constraint layer 36 coexist. The constraint layer 36 is formed of a resin film. The constraint layer 36 is less stretchable than the base layer 34 and, therefore, the constraint layer 36 can constrain the extension of the base layer 34.

Abstract

[Problem] To provide a golf ball exhibiting high carry performance, excellent approach performance, and an excellent stroke sensation. [Solution] A golf ball is provided with a spherical core, an intermediate layer, an inner-layer cover, and an outer-layer cover. The hardness (Hm) of the intermediate layer is greater than the hardness (Hinc) of the inner-layer cover. The hardness (Hinc) of the inner-layer cover is greater than the hardness (Houc) of the outer-layer cover. The difference (Hm-Houc) between the hardness of the intermediate layer and the hardness of the outer-layer cover is greater than 25. The volume (Vm) of the intermediate layer is greater than the volume (Vinc) of the inner-layer cover. The volume (Vinc) of the inner-layer cover is greater than the volume (Vouc) of the outer-layer cover. The ratio [(Vm+Vinc+Vouc)/V] of the sum (Vm+Vinc+Vouc) of the volumes of the intermediate layer, the inner-layer cover, and the outer-layer cover, to the volume (V) of the entire golf ball is less than 0.30. The ratio (Vm/Vouc) of the volume of the intermediate layer to the volume of the outer-layer cover is greater than 1.50. The product (Vm∙Hm) of the volume and hardness of the intermediate layer, and the product (Vouc∙Houc) of the volume and hardness of the outer-layer cover satisfy the relationship [(Vm∙Hm)/(Vouc∙Houc)] > 3.0.

Abstract

In a golf club related to one aspect of the present invention, by coupling a first connecting portion of a first adapter, which is secured to a shaft, with a hosel first connecting portion of a golf club head so as to be non-rotatable about an axis thereof, the shaft is attached to the golf club head so as to be incapable of rotation about the axis. As a result, the second adapter coupled to the first adapter at least need not be configured to be non-rotatable about the axis, and therefore, it is possible to increase the degree of freedom of design for the adapters.

Abstract

This golf club shaft fitting method involves selecting a shaft having torque that matches a golfer on the basis of the swing of the golfer. The golf club shaft fitting method includes: a step in which measurement values are obtained from a sensor, which is capable of measuring angular velocities around three axes, by hitting a golf ball with a golf club having a clip to which the sensor is attached; a step in which prescribed index values are obtained for the angular velocities, which are quantified from the measurement values; and a step in which, on the basis of the relationship between the torque of a shaft and the index values, which are created according to pre-test hitting, a shaft that matches the golfer is selected from among a plurality of shafts for which torque has been measured in advance.
