Abstract

Methods and systems are provided for low power wide area network localization. A location of a mobile device communicating with one or more gateways of a long-range low-power wide-area network (LoRaWAN), having known locations, may be determined, using a model configured for accepting input values relating to a signal strength measure (RSS) of electromagnetic signals transmitted, continuously or intermittently, between the mobile device and the one or gateways of the LoRaWAN having known locations. The signals may be collected and evaluated as the mobile device is moving across a reception area of the LoRaWAN, to derive values representative of the signal strength measure (RSS), to feed as input signal(s) to the model. The model is used to generate values representative of the location of the mobile device and a location dependent measure of uncertainty in each location.

Abstract

Systems and methods are provided for automatically detecting phishing attacks. A sequence of network traffic events may be detecting within network traffic, the sequence including an initial communication from a network address to a first other network address, a first subsequent communication from the first other network address at a first time, and a second subsequent communication from the network address to a second other network address at a second time subsequent to the first time. The first other network address may be classified as a potential phishing website based on determining that the second other network address is not related to the first other network address, and that a time difference between the second time and the first time meets predefined criteria. Protective measures may be taken in response to the classifying, with the protective measures including at least blocking the first other network address.

Abstract

Methods and systems are provided for neural architecture search. A computer-implemented neural architecture search may be used for providing a neural network configured to perform a selected task. A computational graph is obtained, which includes a plurality of nodes, edges and weightings associated with the nodes and/or edges. The computational graph includes a plurality of candidate models in the form of subgraphs of the computational graph. Selected subgraphs may be trained sequentially, with the weightings corresponding to each said subgraph being updated in response to training. For each weighting in a subgraph which is shared with another subgraph, updates to the weightings are controlled based on an indication of how important to another subgraph a node/edge associated with that weighting is.

Abstract

Methods and systems are provided for data-driven roll-out planning optimization. A network roll-out plan, for a network that includes a plurality of cells, may be generated by assessing at least one carrier aggregation (CA) scenario for a particular sector in the network, between two or more cells of the plurality of cells; detecting for the carrier aggregation (CA) scenario, a congestion situation based on probabilities of one or more possible cell connection configurations in the sector, and a predefined minimal throughput level; and assessing achievable data throughput for users in the sector. Cells within a sector where congestion primarily may occur may be identified, based on obtained data associated with the network. The identifying may include comparing at least one ratio of contribution between cells with a balancing ratio. It may be determined whether an identified cell is primarily affected by a coverage or a capacity issue.

An optimized network roll-out plan may be determined for a mobile network comprising sectors fitted with multiple cells operating over respective carrier frequencies by gathering data from several network counters, and analyzing the data to derive the network roll-out plan. Analyzing the data comprises applying congestion detection based on a probability mass function (PMF) and cumulative distribution function (CDF) modelling; and assessing based on the congestion detection achievable data throughput for users in a particular sector. The congestion detection comprises assessing at least one carrier aggregation (CA) scenario for the particular sector, between two or more cells providing coverage in the sector; and detecting for the at least one carrier aggregation (CA) scenario, a congestion situation based on predefined percentile of an aggregated CDF curve weighted based on probabilities of possible cell connection configurations, and a predefined minimal throughput level.

Abstract

A transaction method, a service center, and a device for carrying out the transaction method. In the transaction method object picture data relating to a transaction object, for example a product or a service, are made visible to a user, for instance by projecting image signals corresponding to the object picture data directly on the retina of the user. Eye features of the user are determined while the object picture data, made visible, are viewed by him/her, for example by the light being captured that is reflected by the retina owing to the projected image signals and retina patterns of the user being determined from the determined reflection data and the associated object picture data. The determined eye features with object data relating to the transaction object are linked in a transaction record and the transaction record is forwarded to a processing unit.
