Abstract

A gun sight system including a front sight portion and a rear sight portion. The rear sight portion comprises a circular cylinder sided and formed by incomplete triangles pointing to circular cylinder from each side. In some embodiments, the front sight portion comprises a non-hollow circular cylinder. When the front sight circle is aligned horizontally and vertically to the center of the rear sight, an image of two circles is formed for the user and a target is placed in the center of the point of the circle of the front sight.

Abstract

The present invention is an improved .30 caliber cartridge that overcomes the limitations of the prior art by providing a centerfire cartridge with a case having a head with a rim, a body extending from the head to a tapered shoulder to a mouth that seats a bullet. The cartridge having a dimension that is short enough to fit in an automatic pistol's magazine and when fired from such a pistol's barrel will achieve ballistics closely resembling that of a rifle carbine.

Abstract

The present invention relates to firearms, especially to guns, and more particularly to a system for attenuating recoil, reducing muzzle climb and increasing accuracy. The invention provides a recoil attenuating mechanism that is an improvement on the well-known and widely used Browning tilting barrel system which is used mostly in semi-automatic pistols. The recoil attenuation is achieved by redirecting and manipulating the forces of the recoil of the slide of the pistol to a different axis than what is the norm on a regular Browning action, thus reducing muzzle climb substantially in addition to attenuating recoil, and therefore improving accuracy, recovery time, and controllability.
