Each piston bore is associated with two lubricant outlets. Each metering piston is displaceable in the piston bore and is configured to alternatingly dispense the metered amount of lubricant to the one or the other lubricant outlet. The piston bores are fluidically connected to the lubricant-inlet bore and to each other via connecting bores to transfer lubricant to the other piston bores. The piston bore includes a first region configured to receive the metering piston and a second region configured as the lubricant outlet.

Abstract

A lubricant reservoir system includes a lubricant reservoir having an interior wall and an inlet for receiving lubricant from a supply. A follower device in the reservoir contacts the interior wall of the reservoir in a sliding and sealing manner, and the follower device is movable up and down in the reservoir from a first position to a second position in response to a changing lubricant level. A valve is in fluid communication with the inlet and is configured to selectively prevent a flow of the lubricant through the inlet. A connector operatively connects the follower device to the valve unit such that the flow of the lubricant through the inlet is prevented when the follower device is in the second position. The connector is configured such that the valve is positionable independently of the reservoir.

Abstract

Disclosed is a supply device for supplying a consumer with a viscous medium, in particular a lubricant supply device, including at least a reservoir for the viscous medium including a follower piston which includes a ring seal at its circumferential edges and is supported on the viscous medium and which separates the reservoir into a space supplied with a viscous medium and an air space, and a feed pump for feeding the viscous medium from the reservoir to a medium outlet, such that further in the reservoir at least one opening is provided which serves to receive a ventilation apparatus via which the reservoir is in air-exchanging contact with the exterior surroundings, such that the opening is arranged in the reservoir such that in a determined filling state of the reservoir the ring seal at least partially overrides the opening so that the space supplied with a viscous medium is in fluidic connection with the opening.

Abstract

An automatic lubrication device includes a lubricant container configured to receive a lubricant, a lubricant delivery device for delivering the lubricant, a pump configured to pump the lubricant from the lubricant container to the lubricant delivery device, a drive configured to drive the pumping device, the drive being coupled to the pump via a force-transmission device, an internal control device for controlling the drive, and a control panel configured to enter control commands for the internal control device as an interface for an operator. Components of the automatic lubrication device that include potential electrical or non-electrical ignition sources each include at least one suitable type of protection, which makes the potential ignition sources ineffective, so that a potential fire- or explosion-risk emanating from the automatic lubrication device is eliminated when the automatic lubrication device is used in a fire- and/or explosion-endangered environment.

Abstract

A fill-level measurement apparatus for measuring a fill level of a fluid in a container includes a housing having a first end and a second end and first and second substantially identical thin capacitive sensors mounted on a carrier plate in the housing. The carrier plate includes a circuit board and a microcontroller is mounted on the circuit board. The first sensor is mounted in the housing at a first distance from the first end with a surface portion in contact with a first inner wall portion of the housing, and the second sensor is mounted in the housing between the first sensor and the second end of the housing with a clearance of 0.5 to 10 centimeters from a second inner wall portion of the housing, and the first sensor and the second sensor are configured to communicate with the microcontroller.
