A cassette for a currency note dispensing machine, in which the cassette is slidably mounted to easily fill with currency note, can receive various kinds of currency note by adjusting a currency note guide, and prevent wrong mounting of a push plate to smoothly pay the currency note. The cassette includes a cassette housing formed in a box shape with an upper surface opened, in which currency note vertically stands up and stacks, slidably mounted to a main frame of the currency note dispensing machine, and having a groove for establishing sheet separating means at one side of a rear plate so that currency note contacts with the sheet separating means after one edge of the currency note is supported, and a push plate supporting the currency note stacked between a front plate of the cassette housing and the rear plate and coupled to a resilient member to press the currency note toward the rear plate of the cassette housing.
The present invention provides a bill deposit and withdrawal apparatus comprising a shutter for opening and closing a bill-receiving space; a first plate for forming a front wall of the bill-receiving space and guiding transfer of a bill input into the bill-receiving space; a second plate spaced apart by a predetermined distance from the first plate to define the bill-receiving space; a third plate provided between the first and second plates to partition the bill-receiving space into two spaces; and a fourth plate provided below the bill-receiving space to transfer the bill stacked in the bill-receiving space toward a separator, whereby high reliability is achieved by avoiding jamming and the like that may occur when deposited bills are separated, bills to be withdrawn are stacked, bills rejected upon deposit of bills are stacked, or untaken bills are recovered.
Disclosed is a tamper resistant PIN entry apparatus for input of a key and for encryption of a password in a cash transaction machine. The PIN entry apparatus supplies the electric power to a memory of an electric circuit section, in such a manner that a first rod and a second rod of a rear case connect contacts of a key scan board, wherein the first rod is protruded on the rear of a key module including a button provided substantially on the front of the key module and the second rod of the rear case is coupled with the rear of the key module. At this time, in case that the rear case is removed from the key module or damaged, thereby changing the location of any one of the first and the second rods at the contact, the electric circuit section detects the event and destroys the memory itself physically. Otherwise, the electric circuit section makes information stored in the memory physically or softwarely unreadable, thereby preventing the leakage of the information.

A shutter mechanism of an automated-teller machine according to the present invention comprises a main body including a frame, a shutter slidably coupled to a front side of the frame, a first protrusion protruding inward on an inner lateral surface of the shutter, and a fixing member protruding on a side surface of the frame; an opening/closing means for opening and closing the shutter in response to an external signal; a locking unit for preventing the shutter from being opened by an external force without a separate signal; and a driving unit for simultaneously operating the opening/closing unit and the locking unit. Therefore, the present invention provides a shutter mechanism of an automated-teller machine, wherein a shutter-opening/closing operation and a shutter-locking operation can be simultaneously carried out using a single driving source, thereby simplifying its structure and also reducing its production costs, and interference that may occur while the shutter is being closed does not impose a load on the driving source, thereby preventing damage to and malfunction of the mechanism, reducing a failure rate and also maintaining a smooth operational state.
A bill delivery apparatus for a wall-type automatic-teller machine according to the present invention is disposed between a cash receiving part and a cash handling part of the machine. The apparatus comprises a main body having a pair of plates spaced apart from each other at both sides thereof; a tray unit adapted to be lifted and lowered within the main body, for temporarily stacking bills introduced from the cash handling part therein; a stopper unit disposed in front of the tray unit to prevent the bills introduced from the cash handling part from deviating from the tray unit; a transfer unit disposed adjacent to the tray unit, for transferring the bills stacked in the tray unit to the cash receiving part; a driving unit for driving the tray unit, the stopper unit, and the transfer unit; and a recovering unit for storing untaken bills that has been returned from the cash receiving part. Thus, present invention provides a bill delivery apparatus for a wall-type automated-teller machine, wherein bills can be smoothly transferred between the cash handling part and the cash receiving part, the number of bills requested by a user can be delivered at a time, and bills untaken due to a user's mistake or carelessness can be separately recovered and stored to enable the machine to be used continuously.
