This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus for a bipod having pivot and cant functionality built into a unified cant/pivot assembly, housing, and pivot block. Rotation of a locking knob under the housing can gradually increase or decrease friction of the cant and pivoting degrees of freedom. The legs can be stowed approximately 90° rotation from a deployed position, and locking and releasing of this rotation is made possible via depression of a button that also acts as a locking detent that directly interacts with and locks or releases the legs for rotation. In the stowed position, the button can be backdriven and thus the legs can be deployed without depressing the button. A pivot block can also be raised and rotated 180° to lock in a given pivot setting.

F41A 9/26 - Alimentation en munitions sans bande utilisant un chargeur ou un magasin mobiles comme dispositif d'alimentation utilisant un chargeur du type à tambour rotatif
A follower for a firearm magazine is disclosed, with a platform that may support a cartridge and has a top surface defining a plane and a bottom surface. The front end may be coupled to a front portion of the platform and engage a spring and a magazine body. The interior surface of the front end may be substantially perpendicular to the bottom surface of the platform and form an obtuse angle with the plane of the platform. The rear end may be coupled to a rear portion of the platform and engage the spring and the magazine body. The interior surface of the rear end may be perpendicular to the bottom surface of the platform and form an acute angle with the plane of the platform. The front end may extend further below the platform than does the rear end.
A new interface for a magazine follower (20) and floor plate (10) is used to provide greater stability to the round stack and a more sturdy system overall. The floor plate (10) is designed with two opposite legs, the rear (24) being shorter than the front leg (22) so as to facilitate travel throughout the magazine and clearing of accumulated dirt and debris. The floor plate (10), in one embodiment, utilizes a lock plate (12) that is shaped and sized to become a shoe for the compressed spring (3) and associated follower (20). In an alternate embodiment, the floor plate (30) itself serves the purpose and, with provided teeth (36, 38), directly fastens to the magazine casing (2) at notches (6, 8) manufactured in the magazine casing for that purpose. Other enhancements to the magazine include at least one matrix of divots (5) to provide a paint surface, an over-insertion stop and lower rear geometry to aid in clearing debris and grit.
The present invention is a lockable snap-clip fastener (10) with two spring-biased jaw members (12, 14) and a slidable locking bar (16). The same spring (13) that biases the jaws (12, 14) holds the locking bar (16) in position. Since the bar (16) is held in either the locked or unlocked position, it is more secure and must be positively actuated in order to transition from one configuration to the other.

A second hand contact surface extends from the first hand contact surface intermediate a leading and trailing ends of the base at an obtuse angle relative to the first hand contact surface.
The present invention is an improved firearm (10) with enhanced features over the prior art. The firearm (10) comprises a new assembly of upper an lower receivers (14, 16), an improved short stroke gas piston system (19), an improved charging handle (519) and assembly, an ambidextrous magazine release (116), an adjustable cheek riser (212), a square bolt catch (60, 62) and other features. Together, these feature create a new firearm (10) assembly that is an improvement over the prior art.
