A system and method for attaching a muzzle attachment to a firearm. The muzzle attachment has an attachment body that is defined by an inner surface having a bore along the central axis of the muzzle attachment. The attachment body may include a threaded portion extending a length along the inner surface configured to engage a threaded portion of the firearm. The attachment body includes a lock that is configurable from a retracted configuration to an extended configuration. In the extended configuration, the lock is configured to securely engage a recess of the firearm. By threading the muzzle attachment onto the firearm and engaging the lock with the recess, the muzzle attachment system resists removal of the muzzle attachment from the firearm. The muzzle attachment may include vents. The muzzle attachment system preferably is indexed relative to the firearm for proper operation of the muzzle attachment during engagement of the lock.
A firearm includes a manual safety assembly. The manual safety assembly includes a first manual safety lever that is removably attachable to a second manual safety lever. Each of the manual safety levers includes a lever portion and a connection portion that extends transversely from the lever portion. A blocking lever extends from the connection portion of the first manual safety lever so that the blocking lever is substantially parallel to the first manual lever portion. The manual safety assembly is coupled to the firearm so that the manual safety assembly may be configured in an engaged position in which the blocking lever inhibits movement of a trigger bar of the firearm to prevent the firearm from firing. The manual safety assembly may be moved into a disengaged position that allows movement of the trigger bar.
A device, system and method of detecting and counting shots fired from a weapon, the device including a microprocessor; an analogue accelerometer; a digital accelerometer whose sampling initialisation is operatively triggered by a trigger signal received from the analogue accelerometer to input a shot waveform to the microprocessor, the microprocessor being operable to: receive the trigger signal as a reference signal to the start of a weapon firing cycle, sample the shot waveform, calculate specific weighting coefficients from the shot waveform, compare the shot waveform with a pre-determined configuration of pre-sets to distinguish a real shot-event from a false shot-event, and produce a shot counter signal; and a wireless communications module for operatively transmitting the shot counter signal to a remote device being in operative communication with the shot counter device.

The present invention teaches about a separable magazine follower situated into a magazine body. The magazine follower includes a magazine follower body and exchangeable magazine follower plate. The upper surface of the plate tooth can engage a slide stop lever tooth after the last round is fired from the magazine, and moves a slide stop lever in position that holds a slide in the rear position. The magazine follower plate can be exchanged by the new one after being depleted. The magazine follower plate is not permanently secured to the magazine follower body, but it is nested into the magazine follower body and secured via a magazine spring. The magazine follower plate is formed from material of lower hardness than the material used for slide stop lever tooth in order to prevent its excessive wearing.

An ammunition magazine with an improved base locking, including: a hollow magazine body, a follower, a spring and a magazine base. The magazine body is equipped with track guides that correspond to grooves embodied on the magazine base, that the magazine base is guided onto. The spring is spirally embodied such that the first turn fully encompasses the surface of the magazine base and in the compressed state the rest of the spring, without the first turn, can fully fit into the follower pressed by the spring. The magazine base has a catch on one side and a hole positioned next to the catch. The magazine body has a slit allowing the catch to pass unobstructed into the magazine body and catch the detent spot on the spring positioned inside the magazine body. An advantage is improved safety of magazine base locking to the magazine body and simpler construction.
The present invention refers to the ammunition magazine with an improved base locking, consisting of: the hollow magazine body (1), the follower (2), the spring (3) and the magazine base (4). The magazine body is equipped with track guides (lb) that correspond to the grooves (4b) embodied on the magazine base (4), that the magazine base is guided onto. The spring (3) is spirally embodied in a way that the first turn fully encompasses the surface of the magazine base (4) and that in the compressed state the rest of the spring, without the first turn, can fully fit into the follower (2) pressed by the said spring. The magazine base (4) has a catch (4a) on one side and a hole (4c) positioned right next to the catch. The magazine body (1) has a slit (la) that allows the catch (4a) to pass unobstructed into the magazine body (1) and catch the detent spot (3a) on the spring (3) positioned inside the magazine body (1). The advantage of this technical solution is the improved safety of magazine base locking to the magazine body and simpler construction.
A mechanism for the disassembly of a handgun without triggering, which prevents the consequential accidental firing of a cartridge in the chamber upon triggering. The mechanism including a disassembler, sear catcher lever, sear catcher and a sear catcher spring. The disassembler has an eccentric pin. Rotation of the dissembler moves the sear catcher lever forward. The sear catcher spring pushes the sear catcher which abuts the other end of sear catcher lever. The sear catcher can catch the sear as soon as the sear is pressed downwards around the sear pin by the slide, and it can hold the sear beneath the plane of cocking of the firing pin. At the same time, the sear catcher blocks the firing pin safety lever if the sear catcher lever is in its utmost forward position. That way the cocking of the firing pin is prevented and the triggering is blocked.
The invention discloses a safety mechanism of a handgun which depends on a magazine and which prevents the triggering of a handgun when the magazine is removed. Additionally, a mechanism enables handgun disassembly without need for the triggering after the magazine has been removed from the handgun. A safety mechanism is positioned inside the handgun receiver; including a magazine, sear catcher, sear catcher spring, grip safety pin, sear, sear pin, firing pin safety lever and firing pin. When the magazine is inserted into the handgun, the sear catcher is pushed into position in which it cannot block the firing pin safety lever nor catch the sear. When the magazine is removed from the handgun, the sear catcher spring pushes the sear catcher into position in which it blocks the firing chain by blocking the firing pin safety lever. At the same time it brings the sear catcher into position where it can hold the sear below the plane of the cocking of the firing pin as soon as the sear is sufficiently rotated around the sear pin by retracting the slide.
The invention discloses a safety mechanism of a handgun which depends on a magazine (10) and which prevents the triggering of a handgun when the magazine is removed and enables the disassembly of a handgun without the need for triggering after the magazine has been removed from the handgun. The safety mechanism is positioned inside the receiver (1) of a handgun and it consists of the magazine (10), sear catcher (11), sear catcher spring (12), grip safety pin (5), the sear (3), sear pin (4), firing pin safety lever (8) and the firing pin (9). When the magazine (10) is inserted into the handgun, the sear catcher (11) is pushed into position in which it cannot block the firing pin safety lever (8) nor catch the sear (3). When the magazine (10) is removed from the handgun, the sear catcher spring (12) pushes the sear catcher (11) into position in which it blocks the firing chain by blocking the firing pin safety lever (8), and at the same time it brings the sear catcher (11) into position where it can hold the sear (3) below the plane of the cocking of the firing pin (9) as soon as the sear (3) is sufficiently rotated around the sear pin (4) by retracting the slide (2).

MECHANISM FOR THE DISASSEMBLY OF A HANDGUN WITHOUT TRIGGERING
The subject invention refers to the mechanism for the disassembly of a handgun without triggering, and therefore preventing consequential accidental firing of a cartridge in the chamber upon triggering. The mechanism consists of the disassembler (7), sear catcher lever (11), sear catcher (12) and the sear catcher spring (13). The disassembler has an eccentric pin. Rotation of the disassembler moves the sear catcher lever (11) forward. The sear catcher spring (13) pushes the sear catcher (12) which abuts the other end of sear catcher lever (11). The sear catcher (12) can catch the sear (3) as soon as the sear is pressed downwards around the sear pin (4) by the slide (2), and it can hold the sear beneath the plane of cocking of the firing pin (9). At the same time, the sear catcher (12) blocks the firing pin safety lever (8) if the sear catcher lever (12) is in its utmost forward position. That way the cocking of the firing pin is prevented and the triggering is blocked.

The subject invention discloses the manual safety of a handgun that simultaneously blocks two elements of the firing chain - the trigger and the firing pin (6) and it prevents the discharge when the weapon is locked. The manual safety mechanism consists of levers (7) and (8) that control the manual safety, manual safety (4) that affects the sear (2) and the firing pin safety lever (5), which is connected with the trigger via the activation lever (14). Levers (7) and (8) are tightly connected via the detent (9), while the lever (8) is mounted with the manual safety (4). The firing pin safety lever (5) activates the sear (2) in a way that both can rotate around the pin (3) and can be brought into a position where they do not cock the firing pin (6) retractor (15). Levers (7) and (8) can be rotated in an angle that is sufficient for the manual safety (4) prong to get under the firing pin safety lever (5) prong and the sear (2) prong and completely block its moving around the pin (3), therefore blocking the two above mentioned elements of the firing chain. When the gun operator takes hold of the grip, the operator can feel the position of the manual safety and its state (locked/unlocked) at any moment and under all circumstances (e.g. in the dark).
