An ultraviolet light radiation device that comprises a light-emitting element, at least one electronic component, a light guide plate, a substrate, and wiring. The light-emitting element has a light-emitting surface from which ultraviolet light of a wavelength of 150–300 nm is emitted. The light guide plate: has an end surface and a light discharge surface that intersects the thickness direction; and guides ultraviolet light that has been radiated at the end surface so as to discharge the ultraviolet light from the light discharge surface. The light-emitting element is embedded in the substrate such that the light-emitting surface and an electrode are exposed, and the at least one electronic component is embedded in the substrate such that an electrode is exposed. The wiring is formed on the surface of the substrate and connects the electrode of the light-emitting element and the electrode of the at least one electronic component. The light guide plate is supported on the substrate such that the end surface contacts the light-emitting surface. The present invention thereby achieves an ultraviolet light radiation device that has high sterilization effects.
