The present invention achieves a push button device that enables, without provision of a latch mechanism on a support plate, not only placement of the support plate close to a display device, but also easy attachment and detachment of the push button device. The present invention is provided with: a push button device (10) that is inserted in an opening of a transparent plate (50) from the front side; and an annular lock plate (40) that is disposed on the back side of the transparent plate (50) and fitted to a bottom peripheral part of the push button device (10) from the back side. The bottom peripheral part of the push button device (10) and an inner peripheral part of the lock plate (40) are provided with a snap-fit structure for fixing the lock plate (40) to the bottom peripheral part by turning the lock plate (40). In addition, the lock plate (40) has a larger diameter than the opening of the transparent plate (50), and is configured such that a surface thereof located on the transparent plate (50) side abuts against the transparent plate (50) when the lock plate (40) is fixed to the bottom peripheral part.
