According to the present invention, a control circuit controls a power supply circuit so as to generate transmission power having a frequency that changes in a predetermined frequency range. On the basis of the detection value of an output voltage of a power reception device, the control circuit determines a stable transmission frequency, which indicates the frequency of the transmission power when the dependency of the output voltage of the power reception device upon a load value of the power reception device is at least locally minimized in the frequency range. On the basis of the detection value of the output voltage of the power reception device, the control circuit determines a power transmission voltage, which indicates the voltage of the transmission power for setting the output voltage of the power reception device to a predetermined target voltage when generating transmission power having the stable transmission frequency. The control circuit controls the power supply circuit so as to generate transmission power having the stable transmission frequency and the power transmission voltage.
