Abrégé

In order to suppress power loss in a power conversion device, a power conversion circuit (120) is provided with: reverse voltage application circuits (11-16) that apply reverse voltage lower than DC voltage (VE) in a DC system (142), to corresponding reflux diodes (DA1-DA6); and a control unit (130) that controls the reverse voltage application circuits (11-16). Each of the reverse voltage application circuits (11-16) is provided with: a low voltage power source (22) that generates DC voltage (VG) lower than DC voltage (VE) in the DC system (142); a capacitor (32); a reverse voltage application switching element (28) connected between the low voltage power source (22) and the capacitor (32); and a reverse voltage application diode (34) that is connected between the capacitor (32) and the corresponding reflux diode (DA1-DA6) so as to apply reverse voltage to the reflux diode (DA1-DA6) by using an electric charge stored in the capacitor (32).

Classes IPC  ?

  • H02M 7/48 - Conversion of dc power input into ac power output without possibility of reversal by static converters using discharge tubes with control electrode or semiconductor devices with control electrode
  • H02M 7/5387 - Conversion of dc power input into ac power output without possibility of reversal by static converters using discharge tubes with control electrode or semiconductor devices with control electrode using devices of a triode or transistor type requiring continuous application of a control signal using semiconductor devices only, e.g. single switched pulse inverters in a bridge configuration
