Abstract

This information processing device has a communication unit and a control unit. An acquisition unit acquires an original acceleration and an original angular velocity from a 3-axis inertial sensor. The control unit recognizes the start of a step in a walking motion using a first angle and a synthesized value. The first angle is the angle relative to a vertical direction, based on the original angular velocity. The synthesized value is based on the original acceleration.

Abstract

The present invention estimates intestinal information about a subject with high accuracy from components contained in gas generated from excrement of the subject. This intestinal information estimation system comprises a detection control unit and an estimation unit. A gas sensor detects a prescribed component from gas originating from the subject, and outputs a detection signal corresponding to the concentration of the prescribed component. The estimation unit estimates intestinal information about the subject by inputting, to an estimation model, the following: a first comparison result obtained by comparing a first detection signal, which is a detection signal corresponding to sample gas collected at a first point in time, with a second detection signal, which is a detection signal corresponding to sample gas collected at a second point in time which comes after a prescribed period has elapsed from the first point in time; or a second comparison result obtained by comparing a first concentration, which is the concentration of the prescribed component corresponding to the first detection signal, with a second concentration, which is the concentration of the prescribed component corresponding to the second detection signal.

Abstract

A communication method according to the present invention comprises: a step in which user equipment that is in a radio resource control (RRC) inactive state and has participated in a multicast session receives, from a network node, a paging message notifying the startup of the multicast session; and a step in which the user equipment determines whether to transition from the RRC inactive state to an RRC connected state in response to reception of the paging message. The paging message includes: session information that pertains to the multicast session; and identification information that is associated with the session information and that is used to identify, from among a plurality of pieces of user equipment that have participated in the multicast session, one or more pieces of user equipment to be transitioned to the RRC connected state. The determination step includes a step for determining whether to transition to the RRC connected state on the basis of the session information and the identification information.

Abstract

This communication method comprises: a step in which a user device in a wireless resource control (RRC) connected state receives a first multicast configuration including a reference identifier, a fixed parameter value, and a variable parameter value from a network node via a dedicated RRC message; a step in which the user device that has transitioned from the RRC connected state to an RRC inactive state receives a second multicast configuration including the reference identifier and a new variable parameter value from the network node in a multicast control channel (MCCH); and a step in which, on the basis of the reference identifier, the user device in the RRC inactive state updates the variable parameter value received in the dedicated RRC message to the new variable configuration parameter value received in the MCCH.

Abstract

This operation path setting device comprises a candidate acquisition unit, a determination unit, and a path setting unit. The candidate acquisition unit is capable of acquiring a plurality of operation path candidates from a start point to an end point on the basis of a first assumed operation path having the smallest distance linking the start point and end point of robot operation in a real working space of the robot or a multidimensional space as a configuration space for the robot. The determination unit determines whether the robot will interfere with an obstacle in at least one of a plurality of operation path candidates. The path setting unit sets an operation path for the robot on the basis of the result of determination by the determination unit.

Abstract

This electronic device comprises: a transmitting unit for transmitting a transmitted wave; a receiving unit for receiving a reflected wave from a target of the transmitted wave; and a signal processing unit for detecting a distance position, direction, and speed of the target on the basis of a converted signal obtained after a beat signal of the transmitted wave and the reflected wave has been subjected to a Fourier transform. The signal processing unit is provided with an extracting unit for extracting heartbeat information of the target on the basis of the detected distance, direction and speed of the target. The extracting unit: uses a plurality of window functions to extract, from the converted signal, signal components corresponding to vibrations that accompany a heartbeat of the target; applies a learning classifier to the extracted signal components to select a most appropriate heart sound signal as a heart sound; performs envelope processing with respect to the most appropriate heart sound signal to select a most appropriate optimal signal as the heartbeat; acquires values indicating intervals between peak times from the optimal signal; and extracts a heartbeat interval of the target on the basis of a variance and a central value of the values indicating the intervals.
