Abstract

The invention relates to a motor vehicle lock, in particular a motor vehicle door lock, which is formed with a locking mechanism made up substantially of a rotary latch (1) and a pawl (2). Moreover, an electromotive drive (3, 4) for a securing unit (5) is provided. Also provided is a coupling lever (5) as a constituent part of the securing unit (5). Abstract

The invention relates to a motor vehicle lock, in particular a motor vehicle door lock, which is equipped with a locking mechanism (1, 2) substantially comprising a rotary latch (1) and a pawl (2). Moreover, an actuating lever chain (4, 5) acting on the locking mechanism (1, 2) is provided with a coupling lever (5). When engaged, the coupling lever (5) ensures that the actuating lever chain (4, 5) is closed in order to actuate the locking mechanism (1, 2) and is open when disengaged. In order to change between these two stable end positions, the coupling lever (5) engages with a pin (7) in a slotted link (8) of a positioning lever (9), which slotted link guides the pin. According to the invention, the slotted link (8) is designed as a bidirectional slotted link (8) in such a way that the pin (7) reaches its first end position along a first path (11) when the coupling lever (5) is acted upon and, after the coupling lever (5) has been acted upon again, reaches its second end position along a second path (12) which is separate from the first path.

Abstract

The invention relates to a motor vehicle locking device, in particular a motor vehicle lock and preferably a motor vehicle bonnet lock. The motor vehicle locking device is equipped with a locking mechanism (2, 3) which consists substantially of a rotary latch (2) and a pawl (3). Furthermore, a lock case (7) is provided for mounting the locking mechanism (2, 3). The lock case (7) is designed to be deformable in response to forces (F) that are acting thereon and those caused by acceleration, for example in the event of a crash. According to the invention, above a certain force (F) the deformable lock case (7) rests against the locking mechanism (2, 3) in order to increase a common section modulus.

Abstract

The invention relates to a motor vehicle latch, in particular a motor vehicle door latch, which is equipped with a locking mechanism consisting substantially of a catch and a pawl.An electromotive drive for a coupling lever is further provided as part of a power locking unit. In addition, a first operating lever is provided, wherein in the "unlocked" position of the power locking unit, said first operating lever works on the coupling lever that is then engaged in order to open the locking mechanism, and wherein in the "locked" position of the power locking unit, said first operating lever performs an idle stroke relative to the coupling lever that is then disengaged. According to the invention, the electromotive drive works with a linear thrust member on the coupling lever, wherein the linear thrust member is held in at least one position with the aid of a blocking lever.
