A clamping apparatus with a control mechanism includes a cam, a cam post, a handle, and a handle plate. The cam is configured to rotate into a clamped position in which the clamping apparatus is in a clamped state and an unclamped position in which the clamping apparatus is in an unclamped state. The cam post is rotatable with the cam. The handle is movable into a first position and a second position. The handle plate is rotatable with the handle. The handle plate is configured to rotate the cam post in a first direction when the handle moves from the first position to the second position. The handle plate is configured to rotate in a second direction without rotating the cam post in the second direction for a predetermined distance when the handle moves from the second position to the first position. The first direction is opposite to the second direction.
F16B 2/18 - Clamps, i.e. with gripping action effected by positive means other than the inherent resistance to deformation of the material of the fastening using cams, levers, eccentrics, or toggles
B23Q 3/00 - Devices holding, supporting, or positioning, work or tools, of a kind normally removable from the machine
G05G 1/04 - Controlling members for hand-actuation by pivoting movement, e.g. levers
A saw assembly including a housing, a motor, a first bevel gear, and a second bevel gear. The motor is located in the housing and includes a motor shaft configured for rotation relative to the housing. The first bevel gear is operably connected to the motor shaft for rotation with the motor shaft. The second bevel gear is operably engaged with the first bevel gear, such that rotation of the first bevel gear causes rotation of the second bevel gear. The arbor assembly is operably connected to the second bevel gear. The arbor assembly is accessible for mounting an accessory thereto from an accessory side of the housing. The arbor assembly defines a first axis of rotation. The first bevel gear is located between the second bevel gear and the accessory side of the housing along the first axis of rotation.
A power tool includes a slide switch which is configured to provide variable speed control of the rotational velocity of a drive member as well as provide ON/OFF functionality for the tool 10 based on the position of the switch. The slide switch eliminates the need for a separate switch for turning the tool on and off.
B23D 47/12 - Sawing machines or sawing devices working with circular saw blades, characterised only by constructional features of particular parts of drives for circular saw blades

JAB SAW ACCESSORY TOOL FOR AN OSCILLATING POWER TOOL
An accessory (12) for a power tool (10), includes a mounting portion (52) configured to mate with an oscillating drive member of a power tool (10). A support arm portion (54) extends from the mounting portion (52) in a first direction. The support arm portion (54) includes an inner edge (60) that faces in a second direction transverse to the first direction. A blade portion (14) extends from the support arm portion (54) generally in the second direction. The blade portion (14) includes a trailing edge (18) arranged facing generally toward the mounting portion and a leading edge arranged facing generally away from the mounting portion (52). The trailing edge (18) and the leading edge portion meet to define a pointed tip portion (16).
