Abstract

In order to correctly measure a temperature of a working fluid flowing through an outlet/inlet of a heat exchanger body, a flow adjustment ring is disposed within at least either one of a high-temperature inlet pipe and a low-temperature inlet pipe of the heat exchanger body. In this manner, a core region in which velocity and temperature of the working fluid becomes approximately constant is formed on a downstream side of the flow adjustment ring. A temperature sensor is provided in such a manner that a sensing point is arranged in this core region.

Abstract

This heat exchanger is provided with: a channel layer laminate formed by alternately stacking a plurality of high-temperature channel layers in which a channel for a high-temperature fluid is provided and a plurality of low-temperature channel layers in which a channel for a low-temperature fluid is provided; a heat exchanger body which has an inlet port and an outlet port for the high-temperature fluid and an inlet port and an outlet port for the low-temperature fluid; and a control substrate which is fixed in a direction in which the heat exchanger body is stacked, and which has at least a plurality of temperature sensors mounted thereto so as to be inserted in the direction in which the heat exchanger body is stacked such that the sensing points of the temperature sensors are arranged in the respective vicinities of the inlet port and the outlet port for the high-temperature fluid and of the inlet port and the outlet port for the low-temperature fluid.

METHOD OF CONTROLLING AIR CONDITIONER

Abstract

A method of controlling an air conditioner includes a step of controlling an opening degree of the expansion valve and/or the number of rotations of an outdoor fan of the outdoor heat exchanger such that the difference Tx (= Te - Ti) between the temperature Te of the outdoor heat exchanger and the temperature Ti of the indoor heat exchanger is within a predetermined range, in a cooling mode in a low outside air temperature environment. Specifically, the opening degree of the expansion valve is adjusted, with the number of rotations of the outdoor fan being reduced to be smaller than that in a normal cooling mode, and then, the number of rotations of the outdoor fan is adjusted with the opening degree of the expansion valve being fixed, thereby controlling the difference Tx to be substantially constant.
