Abstract

The present invention concerns an electro-hydraulic forming machine for the plastic deformation of a projectile part (P13) of the wall (P1) of a workpiece (P) to be formed, preferably a cylindrical tubular workpiece, by means of a forming fluid (F). The electro-hydraulic forming machine (1) comprises a tool (4) for applying said forming fluid (F) on the inner face (P11) of said projectile part (P13), said application tool (4) comprising: - a chamber (44) intended to contain said forming fluid (F), cooperating with means (3) for generating a shock wave in the forming fluid (F) intended to be contained in said chamber (44), and - at least one downstream port (42), intended to open opposite said projectile part (P13) of the wall (P1) to be deformed and in fluid communication with said chamber (44), in order to allow the passage of said forming fluid (F) and for propagating the generated shock wave towards the footprint (22) of a target support (2).

Abstract

The invention relates to a device for machining a component, said device comprising: a. a machining head (370) and motorised shafts, comprising a rotary shaft for moving said head in a space known as the working space; b. means for positioning a component in said working space and holding it in position there; c. characterized in that the machining head (370) comprises means (440) for supporting shaping tools for shaping the material and means (250, 451, 452) that are able to add material. The invention also relates to a machining method implemented by this device.
