Abstract

The present invention develops a method for transmitting driving force from a device main body to a cartridge. This cartridge is capable of being mounted on an image formation device main body, which is equipped with a drive output member configured so as to output driving force and a main-body-side pressing member configured so as to press the drive output member, thereby tilting the drive output member. The cartridge has a photosensitive drum and a cartridge-side pressing member. The cartridge-side pressing member is configured so as to press the device main-body-side pressing member, thereby changing the tilt angle of the drive output member.

Abstract

A plurality of virtual viewpoint images corresponding to positions and directions of a plurality of virtual viewpoints are displayed on an operation screen for an operation associated with the position and direction of the virtual viewpoint. The virtual viewpoint image corresponding to the virtual viewpoint selected as a position and direction operation target among the plurality of virtual viewpoints is generated based on a plurality of captured images obtained by capturing an image capturing target region by a plurality of cameras, and is transmitted to another apparatus.

Abstract

A cartridge having a photosensitive drum and a movable member movable relative to the photosensitive drum in order to control the inclination angle of a drive transmission member. The movable member is movable between: a first position for reducing the inclination angle of the drive transmission member relative to the photosensitive drum; and a second position retracted from the first position. As a result, drive coupling can be performed smoothly.

Abstract

Accompanying a mounting operation of a replenishing container, a supported section 11b of a developer receiving part 11 is supported by a reception supporting section 30c of a lift part 30. Accompanying an additional mounting operation, a shutter sliding section 30b of the lift part 30 slides to a shutter inclined section 4f of a shutter 4, whereby the lift part 30 is moved vertically along the shutter inclined section 4f. By thus operating the lift part 30 supporting the supported section 11b of the developer receiving part 11 using the shutter 4, the developer receiving part 11 is displaced such that a receiving port communicates with a discharging port. Consequently, a load to be applied to the movement of the developer receiving part 11 can be reduced, and the replenishing container can be smoothly mounted.

Abstract

An image processing apparatus 1 receives an instruction to generate a virtual viewpoint image based on information corresponding to designation of a virtual viewpoint and on an image obtained by photographing an object from different directions using a plurality of cameras. The image processing apparatus 1 executes control in accordance with the received generation instruction so that a first virtual viewpoint image to be outputted to a first display device and a second virtual viewpoint image to be outputted to a second display device are generated on the basis of the image obtained by the photographing and the information corresponding to designation of the virtual viewpoint. The second virtual viewpoint image has a higher image quality than the first virtual viewpoint image.

Abstract

To develop a conventional structure of a toner cartridge. The toner cartridge includes a container and an open/close member. the container includes an accommodating portion for accommodating toner, and a discharge opening. The open/close member includes a closing portion for closing the discharge opening, and a closing force receiving portion. The open/close member a movable relative to the container between a closing position for causing the closing portion to the close the discharge opening and an opening position for causing the closing portion to open the discharge opening. The open/close member including a leading end portion and a trailing end portion which are on downstream and upstream sides of the open/close member with respect to a closing direction in which the open/close member moves to close the discharge opening, respectively. An open/close member extends from the leading end portion to the trailing end portion in a range exceeding 180 of a circumference of the container, as the toner cartridge is seen in the longitudinal direction of the container. the closing force receiving portion receives a force for moving the open/close member from the opening position to the closing position when the toner cartridge is dismounted from the receiving apparatus.

Abstract

The purpose of the present invention is to develop the conventional configuration of a toner cartridge. A toner cartridge comprises a container and an opening and closing member. The container comprises a housing part for housing toner, and a discharge port. The opening and closing member comprises a closing part for closing the discharge port, and a blocking force receiving part. The opening and closing member is configured to move with respect to the container between a closing position at which the closing part is caused to close the discharge port and an opening position at which the closing part is caused to open the discharge port. The opening and closing member has a front end on the downstream side of the opening and closing member and a back end on the upstream side thereof in a closing direction in which the opening and closing member moves when closing the discharge port, and is disposed in a range exceeding 180 degrees around the container between the front end and the back end when the toner cartridge is viewed along the longitudinal direction of the container. When the toner cartridge is detached from a receiving device, the blocking force receiving part receives, from a blocking force giving part of the receiving device, force for moving the opening and closing member from the opening position to the closing position.

Abstract

A drum unit, cartridge and coupling member are provided. In one embodiment, the drum unit is detachably mountable to a main assembly of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus including a driving shaft provided with a recess on an outer periphery thereof. The drum unit comprises a photosensitive drum having a first end and a second end, and a coupling member provided at the first end of the photosensitive drum. The coupling member includes a driving force receiving portion configured to enter the recess and receive a driving force for rotating the photosensitive drum from the driving shaft, and a positioning portion having a surface configured to position the coupling member relative to the driving shaft. The surface faces away from the second end of the photosensitive drum in an axial direction of the coupling member.

Abstract

A nondrive-side side member forms a part of a cartridge and includes a frame portion, and a regulation frame portion provided in the frame portion, to regulate movement of the cartridge. The frame portion has a hole provided to expose an electric contact. Further, a drive-side side member forms a part of a cartridge and includes a frame portion having a first hole and a second hole with a diameter larger than a diameter of the first hole, and a slit portion into which a memory for storing information is to be inserted.

Abstract

In the present invention, a cartridge is provided to an electrophotographic image forming device body that is not provided with a mechanism which causes a body-side engagement part, provided to the device body in order to transmit a rotational force to an image carrier, to move according to the opening and closing operation of a body cover of the device body, such movement being in the rotational axis direction of the image carrier. The cartridge is removable in a prescribed direction substantially orthogonal to the rotational axis of the image carrier, wherein the cartridge can be removed from the device body without impairing useability performance. In accordance with the movement of the cartridge when removing the cartridge from the electrophotographic image forming device body, in conjunction with movement in a direction orthogonal to the rotational axis of the image carrier, a coupling member that can move in a direction parallel to the rotational axis of the image carrier penetrates to the inner side of a recessed part of the body-side engagement part provided to the device body, and the coupling member receives the rotational force from the body-side engagement part.
