Abstract
A method for improving a peak computing power of a processor, and a system for improving a peak computing power of a processor. The system comprises: a load, which includes a processor; and a power supply apparatus, which is used for receiving an input voltage, generating an output voltage and supplying power to the load by means of the output voltage. The load has a load impedance; the power supply apparatus has a characteristic impedance; the load impedance is defined by the output voltage of the power supply apparatus and the maximum step current provided by the power supply apparatus; the characteristic impedance is defined by an equivalent inductance of the power supply apparatus and an equivalent capacitance of an output side; and the ratio of the characteristic impedance to the load impedance is less than 1. The system can improve a peak computing power of a processor while ensuring a low impedance ratio.

Abstract
A modular power system comprises a primary controller (90), N local controllers (91), and N power units (70). The primary controller is configured to output a primary control signal. Each local controller is configured to receive the primary control signal to output at least one local control signal. The N power units (70) correspond to the N local controllers in a one-to-one manner. Each power unit comprises a first end (X1) and a second end (X2). A second end of each power unit is connected to a first end of an adjacent power unit. Each power unit is configured to comprise M power converters (701). Each power converter is configured to operate according to the local control signal outputted by the corresponding local controller, and local control signals for controlling power semiconductor switches at the same position among at least two power converters among the M power converters to be switched on and switched off at the same time are a same local control signal. The modular power system can simplify the structure, can reduce costs and can improve reliability.

Abstract
A modular power supply system, comprising: a main controller (90) configured to output a main control signal; N local controllers (91), wherein each local controller is configured to receive the main control signal so as to output at least one local control signal (702); and N power units (70) which are in one-to-one correspondence with the N local controllers. Each power unit comprises a first terminal (X1) and a second terminal (X2), the second terminal of each power unit being connected to a first terminal of an adjacent power unit. Each power unit is configured to comprise M power converters (701), and each power converter is configured to operate according to a local control signal which is outputted by a corresponding local controller. Each power unit further comprises M sampling circuits configured to sample a positive direct current bus voltage and a negative direct current bus voltage of the M power converters respectively. M and N are natural numbers greater than 1.
