Abstract

Subjects of the present disclosure are methods for training deep learning models, methods for predicting a map matching parameter, methods for updating a digital road map, and a computer program making it possible to implement the methods and devices for updating a digital road map. The general principle is based on the use of machine learning. Accordingly, a statistical deep learning model is trained according to a “supervised” machine learning scheme. Thereafter, the pretrained statistical deep learning model is used to predict a map matching parameter on the basis of a measurement of geographic coordinates and of an identifier of the position sensor that has performed the measurement of geographic coordinates. Finally, the map matching parameter can be used to update a digital road map.

Abstract

A method for automatic calibration of a camshaft sensor for a motor vehicle. The sensor includes a processing module configured to generate, from a raw signal indicative of the variations in a magnetic field which are caused by the rotation of a toothed target and measured by a cell, an output signal indicative of the moments at which the teeth pass past the cell. The calibration method makes it possible, for each tooth, to determine a switching threshold not only as a function of a local minimum and of a local maximum for the tooth during the preceding revolution of the target, but also as a function of a corrective value calculated from a local maximum and/or a local minimum of the raw signal during the passage of a preceding tooth past the cell during a new revolution.

Abstract

A method for locating at least one wheel of a vehicle, the wheels each being equipped with an electronic device which sends a wheel rotation signal to a central unit, a speed sensor for each wheel which supplies a signal to the central unit. For each electronic device, at least two sequences of several acquisitions are performed by formation of the signal with simultaneous acquisition by the central unit of the signal transmitted by each speed sensor. A pairing is performed of the two signals for an electronic device with each of the wheel speed signals. For each pair, a phase offset is measured between the two signals. When a constant phase offset is measured in the pairs with a speed sensor, the electronic device associated with the signal is identified as being assigned to the wheel associated with the speed sensor.

Abstract

A method of defense against an attack relay action on a remote activation of a function present in an automotive vehicle. The attack relay receives a frame of electromagnetic waves emitted by the activation module and retransmits it to the at least one activation device, nevertheless out of range of emission of the activation module, which dispatches a response frame of electromagnetic waves to the activation module. There is performed, out of range of emission of the activation module, an at least partial interception of a retransmitted frame of electromagnetic waves originating from the attack relay in the direction of the activation device. An at least partial destruction of the retransmitted frame at the activation device and/or of the response frame of the activation device toward the activation module rendering the activation of the function inoperative is performed.

Abstract

A method for diagnosing a fault in the control of a three-phase electric motor current-mode controlled by a control signal. The method makes it possible to calculate the actual dead time present in each of the three control signals at a given time on the basis of compensated temporal offsets for each phase of the motor, of a predetermined measurement error common to the three phases of the motor and of a value of a amplitude of the current flowing through the transistors of the three pairs of transistors at the given time so as to detect a fault in the control of the motor when the absolute value of the calculated difference is higher than a predetermined detection threshold.

Abstract

Method of determining the footprint of a tire on the ground, using devices already installed in standard production tires. Since the frequency of the transmitter clock present in a wheel unit is perturbed by mechanical vibrations when the tire contacts the ground, the frequency variations of the reference clock are representative of the value of the footprint. The method therefore includes determining the footprint on the ground of a tire of a wheel by measuring continuously, as a function of time, a signal representative of the variations in frequency of the reference clock supplied at the output of the time control device; determining a time interval during which the frequency variations of the reference clock occur; and, on the basis of the rotation speed of the tire, deducing therefrom an angular range of contact (Θ) corresponding to the footprint between the ends representing the ground contact length of the tire.

Abstract

A method for adapting the strategy for acquiring measurements of the radial acceleration of the wheel sensors of a tire pressure monitoring system of a motor vehicle during phases in which the vehicle is stationary, in which the wheel sensors periodically measure parameters pertaining to the tires of the corresponding wheels, namely at least pressure, temperature and acceleration parameters. The method includes switching the radial acceleration measurement acquisition strategy of a wheel sensor during the “non-running” phases of the vehicle, between at least two state-of-activity modes, switching from a so-called “sleep” acquisition mode to a so-called “awake” acquisition mode when a pressure event is detected by the tire pressure monitoring system of the motor vehicle, the radial acceleration then being measured according to a period of significantly longer duration in “sleep” mode than in “awake” mode.

Abstract

A method for automatically calibrating an engine camshaft sensor, the sensor measuring variations in magnetic field value and delivering an electrical signal having a high state after the passage of the values of the magnetic field above the switching threshold on a rising edge and a low state after the passage of the values of the magnetic field below the switching threshold on a falling edge. After the passage of the values of the magnetic field above the switching threshold and measuring a new maximum value, the electrical signal remains in a high state as long as the magnetic field values are higher than a hysteresis threshold, which is dependent on the amplitude of the magnetic field calculated with the measured new maximum value; after the passage of the values of the magnetic field below the hysteresis threshold, a new switching threshold is calculated according to the new maximum value.

Abstract

A method for automatic calibration of a camshaft sensor for a motor vehicle, allowing reduction of the fluctuations on the output signal of the sensor. The method proposes comparing, on each target rotation, the new maximum values of the magnetic field of each tooth to the maximum values of the same teeth from the preceding target rotation. The switching thresholds are only calculated with the new maximum values if these differ from the maximum values of the preceding target rotation. Moreover, the invention proposes using a single minimum value of the magnetic field, i.e. the absolute minimum value on a target rotation in order to calculate the switching thresholds.

Abstract

A method for manufacturing a measurement sensor for a motor vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle has a body and an electronic measurement module mounted in the body. The method includes molding the body of the sensor so as to define, in one and the same material, a base for fastening the sensor, an element for receiving the electronic measurement module, and a seal. The element delineates a space for receiving the electronic measurement module and includes a first cylindrical portion with a circular cross section and a second cylindrical portion with a circular cross section. The diameter of the second cylindrical portion is smaller than the diameter of the first cylindrical portion. The method further includes mounting the electronic measurement module in the reception space, and overmolding the element for receiving the electronic measurement module.

Abstract

Disclosed is a method for driving a processor of an electronic box mounted on a vehicle wheel, transmitting operating parameters of the wheel for implementation of a specific application by a central unit. This includes defining, for each specific application, the physical quantities liable to affect the relevance of the operating parameters, and ranges of measured values corresponding to conditions for obtaining relevant values of the operating parameters. Also included is a procedure for acquiring and transmitting the operating parameters consisting of a succession of transmission windows, during each of which the physical quantities selected for the application are measured, it is checked whether the conditions for obtaining relevant values of the operating parameters are met. If so, at least one value of each parameter is acquired and transmitted, while assigning to this value a datum attesting to the relevance of the latter, and then the transmission window is closed.

Abstract

A channel selector for a frequency modulation radio frequency receiver, including a band-pass filter, of which the frequency band is centered on the central frequency of the channel to be selected, and has a width that is automatically variable between a minimum value and a maximum value, the minimum value being determined dynamically proportional to a weighted sum of the field level and the modulation level of the channel, according to a formula MinBW=k1×C+k2×M, in which MinBW is the minimum value, C the field level, k1 the weight associated with the field level, M the modulation level, and k2 the weight associated with the modulation level. The weight associated with the field level is less than the weight associated with the modulation level, preferably in a ratio of 1:3.
