Abstract

A state determination device 30 includes: an acquisition unit 31 for analyzing observation information 301 near the surface of the ground by a satellite-borne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) to acquire a state measurement value 311 indicating a state near the surface of the ground; a determination unit 32 for determining whether a relation between a value of an index 322 with which predetermined regularity 321 with respect to the state may be present and the state measurement value 311 or a relation between a state estimation value 323 near the surface of the ground that is estimated from a value of the index 322 and the state measurement value 311 satisfies the predetermined regularity 321; and an output unit 33 that when the relation between the value of the index 322 and the state estimation value 323 or the relation between the state estimation value 323 and the state measurement value 311 does not satisfy the predetermined regularity 321, outputs determination result information 331 indicating that the state is abnormal. Thus, whether the state near the surface of the ground is abnormal can be more accurately determined from observation information observed from the SAR.

Abstract

According to embodiments, solutions on UL packet dropping are proposed. A terminal device determines a set of data packets to be transmitted to a network device. The terminal device transmits information to the network device. The information indicates a buffer status report of the set of data packets and a packet delay budget associated with the buffer status report. In this way, it avoids transmitting out-of-date data, thereby avoiding wasting resources.

Abstract

Methods, devices and computer readable media for communication are provided. A first network device receives a first paging message from a second network device in a RAN, the first paging message comprising information on a MT-SDT for a terminal device, and determines, based on the information, whether the MT-SDT is performed for the terminal device. If the MT-SDT is performed for the terminal device, the first network device transmits, to the terminal device, a second paging message comprising an indication indicating that the MT-SDT is performed for the terminal device. In this way, the MT-SDT procedure can be triggered.

Abstract

According to embodiments, solutions on asynchronous MTRP transmission are proposed. A terminal device receives a first configuration from a network device. The first configuration indicates a time offset between a first transmission reception point (TRP) and a second TRP. The terminal device is able to support asynchronous multi-TRP (MTRP) transmissions from the first and second TRPs. The terminal device synchronizes with the first TRP. The terminal device performs at least one of: downlink reception or uplink transmission with the second TRP based on the time offset. In this way, it can align frame timing, slot boundary or symbol boundary at the terminal device.

Abstract

This diffraction loss analysis device calculates, using a diffraction loss calculation formula, an estimated value of the diffraction loss of a radio communication path on the basis of terrain data indicating the ground surface corresponding to the radio communication path between the installation location of a transmission-side antenna and the installation location of a reception-side antenna. The diffraction loss analysis device generates a roundness loss estimation model that estimates roundness loss in accordance with the cross-sectional roundness in the direction of the radio communication path on the ground surface indicated by the terrain data, on the basis of the relationship between the estimated value of the diffraction loss and the diffraction loss calculation formula, and the measured value of the diffraction loss.

Abstract

This line design assisting device uses a propagation loss calculation formula, antenna coupling loss formulas for a plurality of techniques, and a status specification parameter to calculate an estimated value of a propagation loss L. The line design assisting device performs by specifying the propagation loss calculation formula and specifying an atmospheric structure parameter M to be used in the propagation loss calculation formula, such that the estimated value of the propagation loss L approaches an actual measured value of the propagation loss, on the basis of a relationship between the actual measured value of the propagation loss, recorded on the basis of transmitted and received radio waves between a transmission side antenna and a reception side antenna, and the estimated value of the propagation loss L. The line design assisting device records the propagation loss calculation formula and the atmospheric structure parameter specified by a learning unit for each of a plurality of different combinations of transmission side antenna installation positions and reception side antenna installation positions.

Abstract

This model training device trains an image conversion model so that an output image representing a scene in a second environment is generated from an input image representing a scene in a first environment. The image conversion model has a feature extraction model for generating a feature map from the input image, and an image generation model for generating an output image from the feature map. The model training device inputs a training image to the image conversion model to thereby obtain a first feature map and an output image, and furthermore inputs the output image to the image conversion model to thereby obtain a second feature map. The model training device calculates a patchwise loss using feature quantities respectively corresponding to a positive example patch extracted from the training image and positive example patches extracted from the positive example patch and the output image, and trains the image conversion model on the basis of the patchwise loss. The positive example patches are extracted in a focused manner from a region representing a specific type of object.

Abstract

This authentication system is for transmitting a cryptogram of authentication information from a to-be-authenticated person device to an authenticating person device by using homographic encryption that uses a public key encryption format. The authenticating person device issues a first random number to the to-be-authenticated person device. The to-be-authenticated person device generates a second random number, and transmits, to the authenticating person device, a first element generated by using a public key that uses the first random number and the second random number and a second element generated by using a public key that uses the second random number. The authenticating person device corrects the second element by using the first random number, and obtains a cryptogram of the authentication information.

Abstract

A server 10 that generates a gradient boosting decision tree outputs, as split candidates, candidates for node split conditions to a plurality of information processing devices 20. The information processing devices 20 calculate the number of items of data input to each of two child nodes resulting from splitting based on the split candidates. If the number of items of data input to each child node resulting from the splitting based on the split candidates is less than a predetermined number, the information processing devices 20 adjust the data input to the child node, evaluate the split candidates on the basis of the adjustment results, and output the evaluation results of the split candidates to the server 10. The server 10 generates a gradient boosting decision tree on the basis of the evaluation results acquired from the plurality of information processing devices 20.

Abstract

Methods, devices, and computer readable medium for communication. A terminal device (210-1) transmits its capability related to an artificial intelligence (AI) data processing model to a network device (220). The network device (220) transmits to the terminal device (210-1) a first reference signal configuration which is used during an first phase of the AI data processing model. The terminal device (210-1) determines an association between the first reference signal configuration and a second reference signal configuration which is used during a training phase of the AI data processing model. In this way, the AI/ML techniques are integrated with CSI framework. Further, the terminal device (210-1) understands when the reduced reference signals are used and perform corresponding behaviors.
