Abstract

An antenna structure with wide radiation bandwidth in a reduced physical space includes a housing, a first feed portion, and a second feed portion. The housing includes a metallic side frame, a metallic middle frame, and a metallic back board. The metallic side frame defines first and second gaps, and the metallic back board defines a slot. The slot, the first gap, and the second gap divide the metallic side frame to give a first radiation portion. The first and second feed portions are both electrically connected to the first radiation portion. When the first feed portion supplies a current, the current flows through the first radiation portion, toward the second gap to excite a first working mode. When the second feed portion supplies a current, the current flows through the first radiation portion, toward the first gap to excite a second working mode.

Abstract

A method for determining a standard depth value of a marker includes obtaining a maximum depth value of the marker. A reference depth value of the marker is obtained based on a depth image of the marker, and a Z-axis coordinate value of the marker is obtained based on a color image of the marker. When the reference depth value and the Z-axis coordinate value are both less than the maximum depth value, and a difference between the reference depth value and the Z-axis coordinate value is not greater than 0, the depth reference value is set as the standard depth value of the marker; and when the difference is greater than 0, the Z-axis coordinate value is set as the standard depth value of the marker.

A method for determining a communication path of millimeter wave signal and measurement device using the method includes a first measuring device and a second measuring device. The first measurement device queries a list to determine a first AOD of the first measurement device corresponding to a LOS, and controls the array antenna of the first measurement device to send the millimeter wave signal at the first AOD of the first measurement device corresponding to the LOS to the second measurement device. The second measurement device queries the list to determine a first AOA of the second measurement device corresponding to the LOS, and controls the array antenna of the second measurement device to receive the millimeter wave signal at the first AOA of the first measurement device corresponding to the LOS. Abstract

An antenna structure of few components and reduced size which functions by switching between components to achieve radiation in three different frequency bands includes two radiating portions, a feeding portion, a matching circuit, and a first switching circuit. With the first switching circuit closed, current flows along a first radiating portion to activate a first frequency band. A second radiating portion obtains the current from the first switching circuit by coupling with the first radiating portion, to activate a second frequency band. Current in the first radiating portion can activate a third frequency band. With the first switching circuit open, current in the first radiating portion activates radiation in the first frequency band. The second radiating portion can radiate in second frequency band by coupling current from the first radiating portion. Frequency multiplication of the first frequency band can activate the third frequency band.

Abstract

A method for dividing an image obtains the image by captured and a depth map of the image. The method creates a histogram of the depth map including horizontal and vertical axes. A clustering algorithm is applied to the data in the histogram to determine upon two data clusters and the cluster centers of the two clusters. The method determines that the abscissa value of the smallest ordinate value between two cluster centers in the histogram is a segmentation threshold. If the obtained segmentation threshold meets a preset condition, the image is segmented into a foreground region and a background region. An electronic device for applying the method is also provided.

Abstract

An electronic device able to adjust for large differences in skin tones and colors in images acquired includes a first camera module for acquiring a first image, a second camera module for acquiring a depth map, and a processor. The processor analyzes the first image and the depth map, and determines whether a face is detected only by the second camera module and not by the first camera module. If any such face is detected, the processor controls the first camera module to focus on the area of the face detected by the second camera module and acquire a second and further images after light-metering the semi-detected face.

Abstract

A method for generating dynamic images applied to a computer device includes obtaining a depth image of a static image. A preset region of the depth image is converted into a histogram and an average depth value D is calculated therefrom. A first depth value d1 and a second depth value d2 are determined from the histogram according to the average depth value D. M numbers of third depth values d3 are calculated according to the first depth value d1 and the second depth value d2. Once M number of blurred images are generated according to each M number of third depth values d3, the M number of blurred images are played back according to a magnitude of the third depth value d3 corresponding to each of the M number of blurred images.

Abstract

A measurement method for measuring millimeter wave (mm-wave) signal and device using the method includes a first measuring device receiving a mm-wave signal by an array antenna at a first angle of arrival corresponding to a position of the first measuring device, the mm-wave signal being sent by a second measuring device at a first angle of departure. Thereby, a downlink between the first measuring device and the second measuring device can be established quickly. From a certain ascertainable location, the first measurement device sends the mm-wave signal by the array antenna at a second angle of departure, and the second measurement device receives the mm-wave signal at a second angle of arrival corresponding to the position of the first measuring device, thus, an uplink between the first measuring device and the second measuring device can be established quickly.

Abstract

An antenna structure utilizing metallic frame of electronic device to simultaneously send and receive radio waves on multiple frequencies includes first and second feeding sources and the metallic frame. A notch in the metallic frame creates first and second radiating portions. The first feeding source feeds the first radiating portion, and a first mode and a second mode can be activated simultaneously to generate radiation signals in a first frequency band and a second frequency band. The second feeding source feeds the second radiating portion and a third mode and a fourth mode can be simultaneously activated to generate radiation signals in a third frequency band and a fourth frequency band. A wireless communication device is also provided. The wireless communication device includes a motherboard and the antenna structure.
