Abstract

The present invention relates to a precipitation gauge crossing a drain. As precipitation is received in a receiving container of a rain gauge, a pressing protrusion of a press part presses a load cell to accurately measure the precipitation within the receiving container. Also, each of a pair of solenoid valves installed within the rain gauge is alternately and repeatedly opened and closed to discharge the precipitation within the receiving container, thereby continuously measuring the precipitation. The precipitation gauge crossing the drain according to the present invention may accurately measure the precipitation using the load cell and prevent the precipitation from overflowing. Also, the solenoid valves are alternately and repeatedly operated to continuously measure the precipitation. In addition, hot air may flow into the entire inside of an outer wall of an outer container body to prevent the precipitation gauge from being frozen in the winter.
