Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for generating a total mRNA-based random sgRNA library through an enzymatic reaction. The method according to the present invention may generate an sgRNA library that may target the entire genome of any organism, including prokaryotes, without relying on genome sequence information and may be used for phenotype-based screening in prokaryotes because the generated sgRNAs selectively bind only to non-template strands of a target gene. In addition, mRNA, which is a useful genetic material, as well as DNA may be used as a starting material, enabling the generation of an sgRNA library targeting an actively expressed gene.

Abstract

Proposed are a loop-based route expression method and optimization method for a vehicle routing problem. The loop-based route expression method for a vehicle routing problem, proposed in the present invention, indicates a route in a loop manner by using a loop variable and a reference route in order to express the route mathematically on a graph including nodes and links. The loop-based route optimization method for a vehicle routing problem, proposed in the present invention, comprises the steps wherein: a loop variable design unit defines, on a graph including nodes and links, a loop by using a link set in a predetermined directionality, in which a start node and an end node include a same clockwise direction or counterclockwise direction, in order to express a route mathematically; the loop variable design unit defines, on the loop defined by the link set, a loop variable that is a virtual variable having a consecutive value between a negative reference route value allocated according to the predetermined directionality including the clockwise direction or counterclockwise direction and a positive reference route value; a reference route design unit defines a reference route that connects an origin node and a destination node of the route, has a positive value, and has a proceeding direction set in a direction connected from the origin node to the destination node; and a shortest route search unit formulates the loop variable and a shortest route problem by using the loop variable and the reference route.

Abstract

A structural displacement estimation method is performed by a computer program executed in a computing device. The computer program may cause a processor of the computing device to perform an automatic initial correction step and a structure displacement monitoring step. The automatic initial correction may be performed by: collecting measurement values from each of a radar device and an accelerometer directly installed on a structure; automatically determining one optimal target in a plurality of target candidate groups including targets detected by the radar device; and automatically calculating final transform coefficients for transforming a displacement in the direction of the line of sight to the optimal target into a displacement in an actual vibration direction. The structural displacement monitoring can increase the accuracy of structural displacement measurement by calculating a final displacement by fusing, on the basis of an FIR filter, a radar-based displacement obtained by applying the final transform coefficients to phases extracted from radar measurement values for the optimal target and an acceleration-based displacement obtained by double-integrating measurement values collected from the accelerometer.

In a roller gap measurement system using light and a roller gap measurement method using same, the roller gap measurement system measures the gap between a pair of first and second rollers. Here, the roller gap measurement system comprises a light source, a refraction unit, a sensor unit, and an image-processing unit. The light source provides incident light toward the gap between the first and second rollers. The refraction unit receives complex light having passed through the gap between the first and second rollers and refracts same. The sensor unit receives the refracted light so as to image a complex pattern. The image-processing unit obtains information about the gap between the first and second rollers on the basis of the imaged complex pattern.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for predicting the onset of immune-related adverse events induced by an HLA type-based cancer immunotherapy agent. In the present invention, as a result of analyzing various factors related to the onset of immune-related adverse events induced by a cancer immunotherapy agent, it was confirmed that copy number variations (CNVs) of the HLA gene, such as HLA-B exon 2 deficiency, or HLA alleles such as HLA-B*35:01, HLA-B*40:02, and HLA-B*54:01, are closely related to the onset of immune-related adverse events. Therefore, CNVs or alleles of the HLA gene are expected to be effectively used as biomarkers for predicting the onset of immune-related adverse events induced by a cancer immunotherapy agent or predicting responsiveness to a cancer immunotherapy agent.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a composition comprising a TAF10 inhibitor for preventing or treating colorectal cancer. The inhibition of TAF10 was found to lead to suppressing the growth and proliferation of colorectal cancer cells, reducing vascularization, and inhibiting the WNT signaling pathway, and increase the survival rate of patients as analyzed with a large-scale cancer database. In particular, reversal of the cancerization process, which is the differentiation of colorectal cancer cells into normal cells, was confirmed. Unlike conventional anticancer drugs that simply induce the death of cancer cells, the present invention can thus be advantageously utilized as a treatment method for converting colon cancer cells into normal cells while excluding side effects of normal cell death that may occur during anticancer treatment.

Abstract

The present invention relates to: a gene carrier for oral administration; a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating diabetes, comprising the gene carrier as an active ingredient; and a method of preparing the gene carrier for oral administration. The gene carrier for oral administration of the present invention has a coating layer of alginic acid on a surface, and thus can protect genes from decomposition caused by stomach acid (digestive juice); and is in the form of a complex in which a cell-permeable and follicle associated epithelium (FAE)-targeting peptide is bound to a glycol chitosan-polyethylene glycol copolymer having cationic properties, and thus can effectively transfer genes through intestinal epithelial microfold cells (M cells) to an organ being targeted, while condensing genes having anionic properties. Accordingly, the gene carrier of the present invention can overcome physical barriers (stomach pH and enzymes) and biological barriers (intestinal epithelial barrier) effectively, and thus useful utilization thereof as a carrier of various genes for oral administration is expected.
