Abstract

A disclosed polymer thin film includes a cationic polymer having a hydrolyzable side chain. The polymer thin film has a surface potential of 1 mV to 50 mV. A hydrolysis efficiency of the cationic polymer is 30% or more after reaction at 50° C. for one hour. The cationic polymer is dissolved to three-dimensionally capture nucleic acids, and releases the nucleic acids through hydrolysis. Thus, nucleic acid capturing-releasing efficiency can be improved.

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a copper-based catalyst for reverse water gas reaction including a gas-permeable amorphous shell formed by strong metal-support interaction. The inventors of the present disclosure synthesized a copper-ceria solid solution and then adjusted the surface defect sites of the solid solution, thereby producing a catalyst including enhanced surface defect sites and having a gas-permeable amorphous shell structure formed on each copper particle. When the catalyst production method according to the present disclosure is used, it is possible to synthesize a catalyst including a structure consisting only of very small Cu particles encapsulated by surface shells and Cu sites incorporated into the CeO2 lattice structure. When the synthesized catalyst is used in the RWGS reaction, it exhibits excellent low-temperature activity, high activity and durability, compared to conventional precious metal catalysts. In addition, even when the catalyst of the present disclosure is supported on a monolith and used to perform the RWGS reaction on a bench scale, it exhibits high activity, CO2 conversion and durability, which are comparable with those in the laboratory scale, indicating that it may be applied to an actual process.

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a fine particle-trapping sensor including: a plasmonic hotspot layer formed of a first metal; and a trapping layer formed of a second material. The inventors of the present disclosure have made extensive research efforts to develop a more effective and novel sensor for the real-time and high-sensitivity detection of droplets emitted from the oral cavity. As a result, the inventors have developed an alloy composite nanostructure including a Raman sensor layer, formed of a metal, and a trapping layer formed of a dielectric material, and have found that, when the ratio between the two layers is adjusted, the alloy composite nanostructure effectively traps respiratory droplets rapidly emitted from the oral cavity and detects coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2 lysate) in the respiratory droplets at a concentration of 10 pfu/ml, indicating that the composite nanostructure may be very advantageously used in the field of fine particle trapping.

Abstract

A method of using open domain information for understanding a context of temporal relation information is implemented as a computer program and performed using a computing device. Unnecessary elements is removed by data pre-processing from an input text in a natural language, and then linguistic characteristics of the pre-processed input text are analyzed to generate a linguistic analysis result in a structure form. Candidates for temporal relation information included in the input text are generated by analyzing temporal information and open domain information included in the input text using the linguistic analysis result, then validity of the candidates is verified to generate verified temporal relation information. Since the temporal relation information can be grasped based on the open-domain information in the input text, quality and accuracy of an information extraction result can be increased in applications, thereby improving system performance for question and answer, document summary, conversation systems, etc.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for determining sensitivity to a PARP inhibitor or a DNA damaging agent by using a non-functional transcriptome, and more particularly, to a method for determining sensitivity to a PARP inhibitor or a DNA damaging agent by extracting nucleic acids from a biological sample to obtain the expression amount of each of non-functional transcriptomes of DNA repair-related genes, and then analyzing the use rate (TU) of each of the non-functional transcriptomes for each gene on the basis of the obtained expression amount. The method for determining sensitivity to a PARP inhibitor or a DNA damaging agent according to the present invention is useful in that sensitivity can be determined in real time with high accuracy because the method uses information of the transcriptomes transcribed in the gene, unlike existing methods which determine sensitivity to a PARP inhibitor or a DNA damaging agent on the basis of genetic variation information.

Abstract

A method for detecting fatigue cracks in a structure and a system therefore are disclosed. A vibration detection element detects vibration of the structure generated when the structure is excited at low and high frequencies and generates a measurement signal in the time domain. Based on a trained long short-term memory (LSTM) network, a signal of the next time step is predicted from the measurement signal of the current time step measured by the vibration detection element. The measurement signal and the prediction signal are combined to create a new combined signal with an increased length in the time domain. The combined signal is Fourier transformed to reduce noise and enhance the information of the measured signal in the frequency domain, and the Fourier transformed signal is used to obtain a spectral density function and to detect cracks in the structure.
