Abstract

A method of manufacturing an air heating device (1), comprising the steps of preparing a support (2) extending along a main axis (A), a first resistance wire (3) and a second resistance wire (4), helically winding the first resistance wire (3) around the support (2) so as to create a first winding (W1) extending along the main axis (A) with a first feeding pitch (p1) and helically winding the second resistance wire (4) around the support (2) so as to create a second winding (W2) extending along the main axis (A). The second winding (W2) comprises a first portion (W2') arranged in parallel, both electrically and physically, to the first winding (W1 ) and with a pitch corresponding to the first pitch (p1 ), so that there is a coil of the second winding (W2) between two adjacent coils of the first winding (W1) and a second portion (W2'') arranged electrically in series to the first portion (W2') and physically in series to the first winding (W1), wherein the second portion (W2'') has a second pitch (p2) that is shorter than the first pitch (p1 ).

Abstract

An air heating device for a hairdryer comprises an inner tubular body (2) extending along a central axis (A) and provided with an outer surface (2b) from which a plurality of mutually angularly spaced, radial baffles (4) extend so as to define a plurality of angular sectors (S), a corrugated resistive coil (6) extending circumferentially around the inner tubular body (2), a safety device (9) placed in electrical connection with said corrugated resistive coil (6), a thermostat (10) placed in electrical connection with the corrugated resistive coil (6), and an outer tubular body (16) made of insulating material and arranged coaxially with the inner tubular body (2) around the corrugated resistive coil (6). The safety device (9) and the thermostat (10) are respectively housed in a first (S1) and a second angular sector (S2), which are adjacent to each other and separated by a shared radial baffle (11), and the corrugated resistive coil (6) comprises a plurality of first turns (7a) provided with two rectilinear portions (12) positioned at the first (S1) and the second angular sector (S2), respectively, and at least one anchoring wave (8) interposed between the rectilinear portions (12) and overlying said shared radial baffle (11).

An air heating device for a hot air flow generator, comprises an inner tubular support (2) extending along a central axis (A), a plurality of radial baffles (3) extending from the inner tubular support (2) and angularly spaced apart from each other so as to define a plurality of angular sectors and a resistive coil (4) provided with at least one resistive wire (4a) helically extending about the inner tubular support (2), resting on the radial baffles (3), wherein each radial baffle (3) has a radially outer edge (3a) provided with a plurality of receiving grooves (5) for the resistive wire (4a) arranged in axial succession.
