Abstract

The invention relates to a structural unit (1) for configuring an interface (2) for a filling adapter (3) for filling vehicles with at least one operating fluid which is supplied into circuits and containers in the vehicles from a filling facility via a connection line and a filling adapter (3). The aim of the invention is to provide such a structural unit (1) in which the functions required to operate the filling adapter (3) are largely combined. This is achieved in that the structural unit (1) has a modular design and has at least three separate assemblies (4; 5; 6). Abstract

The invention relates to a device for the pressure testing, evacuation and/or filling of a non-vacuum-resistant or non-pressure-resistant assembly by means of a vacuum pressure filling or a vacuum volume filling, the device comprising a vacuum chamber for accommodating the assembly to be filled and an adapter for filling the assembly to be filled. The problem addressed by the invention is that of providing a corresponding device which has a compact design with small volumes, in order to permit short evacuation times and aeration times. At the same time, the aim is to have only a small consumption of auxiliary gas and good handling for an automation system. Abstract

The invention relates to a technical solution for filling vehicles with operating fluids on assembly lines of the automotive industry, wherein on the assembly line, robot-based assemblies are provided which can be moved between a home position and a filling position and have at least one robot arm for holding and manipulating a filling tool. The aim of the invention is to provide a relevant technical solution which ensures simple handling for maintenance and repair works on the filling tool despite the assemblies for filling being arranged in a manufacturing cell. This aim is achieved by means of an apparatus, in that for each operating fluid (A, B, C) to be filled, at least two interchangeable, identical filling tools (2) are provided which are designed as separate assemblies and have a gripping device (4). One filling tool (2) is releasably brought into operative connection with a robot arm (3) for the filling process, and the other filling tool (2) is, or the other filling tools (2) are, positioned on the relevant associated rest (5). Furthermore, a tool changing system (6, 7) is formed on the portions of the filling tool (2) and robot arm (3) that are in operative connection with one another for the filling process. This aim is also achieved by means of a method, in that a plurality of such apparatuses are used simultaneously on one vehicle.

Abstract

A filling adapter (1) for filling vehicles with a fuel. The filling adapter (1) is designed to cooperate with a filling port (2) of the circuit or tank to be filled. The problem addressed by the invention is that of providing an associated clamping device which can be clamped onto a filling port that has no contours for the engagement of clamping jaws or clamping cones. The aim of the invention is to achieve an at least equivalent sealing and clamping function as when conventional clamping jaws or clamping cones are used. In order to achieve this aim, the filling adapter (1) has a main part (3) with a through-opening (4) for the fuel to be filled, a clamping element (6) and a hydraulically or pneumatically or mechanically activated clamping piston (7, 8), wherein the clamping element (6) is actuated by the clamping piston (7, 8) in such a manner that it is clamped for the filling operation onto the filling port (2) of the circuit or tank to be filled, in the process brings about sealing and is held in this clamped position during the filling.

Abstract

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for operating an installation for the vacuum-pressure filling of systems with gaseous liquefied fuels, wherein the system to be filled is prefilled with an additive which is partially extracted from the filling process by flow effects while secondary processes are being carried out and is subsequently returned in a metered manner to the system to be filled, and also relates to a hydraulic circuit for carrying out such a method. The problem addressed by the invention is that of providing a technical solution in this respect which is suitable in particular for filling an air-conditioning system of a vehicle with refrigerant in the production process on assembly lines of the automobile industry. This problem is solved by a combination of method- and device-related technical features which, by specific routing of lines in operative connection with valves and the structural integration of a separator in the flow path, allow the volumetric flows to be influenced direction-dependently, and so allow an additive that is separated out from the volumetric flow to be returned once again to the main process after the completion of the secondary processes.

Abstract

The invention relates to a quick-change device for a filling adapter for filling vehicles on assembly lines of the automotive industry, on which assembly lines circuits and tanks of the vehicles are filled with service fluids, which are fed into the corresponding circuits and tanks from a filling system via hose sets having pneumatic and hydraulic lines and via a filling adapter. A separate connection plate is provided at the point of separation of the hose set from the filling system, and a connection block is formed on the filling system as a functional counterpart to the connection plate. The problem addressed by the invention is that of providing a quick-change device of this type which allows automatic clamping of the connection plate and the connection block and which is structurally integrated into one of these two assemblies. The problem is solved in that the connection block (1) has, along its central longitudinal axis, a channel structure (6) extending all the way through, in which a pull rod (3) is disposed, and in that an assembly (5) having a pneumatic cylinder (7) is disposed on the end of the connection block (1) remote from the connection plate (2), wherein: - the pull rod (3) is surrounded, over a portion of its axial extent, by a spring set (4) in the channel structure (6), the two end portions of which spring set are fixedly supported on the pull rod (3) by means of one fastening element (8) in each case; - the pneumatic cylinder (7) has a piston surface, by means of which the upper end of the pull rod (3) can be acted upon; - the pull rod (3) has, on its end portion remote from the pneumatic cylinder (7), a holding geometry (11) in the form of a cylinder screw; and - the connection plate (2) has a holding geometry (9) in the form of a slotted hole, such that the connection plate (2) can be hooked on the pull rod (3), since said holding geometry (9) transitions, with respect to the longitudinal axis of the pull rod (3), from a portion (A) having a first open cross-section in the shape of the holding geometry (11) formed as a cylinder screw on the pull rod (3), in the radial direction, into a portion (B) having a second open cross-section which has a narrower contour opening than the first open cross-section and has an undercut, the inner installation space of the undercut having a contour in the shape of the cylinder screw (11) formed on the pull rod (3).

Abstract

Abstract

The invention relates to a screwing tool for handling closure elements on vehicle tanks for holding fuels, which, in the production process of the vehicles on assembly lines of the automotive industry, are fed from filling systems into the respective circuits and tanks of the vehicles via connecting lines and adapters by means of robot-based assemblies arranged on the assembly line, the robot-based assemblies being movable between a home position and a filling position during operation and having at least one robotic arm. The problem addressed by the invention is that of providing a screwing tool of this type that allows automated handling of the closure elements even in the case of tight assembly spaces or assembly spaces that are difficult to access. This problem is solved by virtue of the fact that the screwing tool has a flat main body (1), a centric gripper (2), a drive motor (3), a first pneumatic compensating element (4) for deviations in the XY-plane, and a second pneumatic compensating element (5) for deviations in the Z-direction, specific designs and arrangements being proposed for these assemblies.

The invention relates to a device for testing intersections between a filling adapter and a motor vehicle air-conditioning system. The problem addressed is that of providing a solution with which requirements of different refrigerants (R134a; R1234yf) are taken into consideration. Abstract

The invention relates to a device for measuring the water content in brake fluids on the basis of polyglycol in a flow-through method during the first filling process of vehicles on assembly lines of the automobile industry by means of a filling system. The permittivity and the conductivity of a DOT3- and DOT4-specific brake fluid are taken into consideration using the same measuring device during the measuring process. The respective effect of permittivity and conductivity can be used for a measurement stroke, and the measuring device can be switched to a different integrated database when the brake fluid type is changed within the DOT3 and DOT4 specification without recalibration.

Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus for configuring a consumption management system for polyglycol-based brake fluid during vehicle filling on assembly lines. The problem addressed by the invention is that of creating a technical solution by means of which the brake fluid approximating a defined limit value is preferably consumed, irrespective of the filling station in which it is located and whether the filling unit is in use or not. This problem is solved in that the apparatus includes: a bi-directional, switchable hydraulic interface for a plurality of filling stations in combination with just one measuring point for water content; a supply station for brake fluid; a control system with independent determination of a usage pattern of connected filling stations; and an active consumption control, across all connected filling stations, resulting from the measurement of the water content.

Abstract

The invention relates to a device for handling hose asemblies on filling systems of assembly lines in the car industry, at which vehicles are filled with a plurality of different operating media which are in each case fed into the respective circuits of the vehicles by a plurality of filling systems, some of which are operated at the same time, via hoses and adapters. The problem addressed by the invention is that of providing a device of this type with which a sufficient length of hose can be stored and deployed and which is of such narrow design that two filling systems can move closely past each other without the respective hose assemblies colliding. The problem is solved in that the device receives at least one hose longitudinally with respect to the direction of travel of the filling system in a loop and, for this purpose, has a construction space in which at least one length of hose can be stored, which length of hose corresponds approximately to twice the overall length of the filling system, and in which construction space a plurality of hose assemblies can also be arranged one behind another, wherein each of said hose assemblies is moveable independently of other hose assemblies, and wherein the hose assemblies are assigned an oblique outlet contour.
