Abstract

The invention relates to an ink cartridge refilling device and an ink cartridge refilling system. The ink cartridge refilling device comprises an ink container, an ink injection channel, an air inlet channel, an aspirator and a cover component, wherein the cover component is provided with a first sealing section for sealing an ink cartridge to be refilled and a second sealing section for sealing the air inlet channel. During the ink refilling, air in a sealed ink cartridge can be sucked to enable ink in the ink container to flow into the sealed ink cartridge, so that negative pressure is formed in the ink container and the ink is conveyed from the ink container to the ink cartridge under the negative pressure, thus the refilling of the ink into the ink cartridge and the replenishing of air into the ink container may not be carried out at the same time.

Abstract

The invention relates to a negative-pressure ink cartridge refilling device, system and method. The device comprises an ink container used to store ink, an ink injection channel, an aspirator and a suction channel communicated with the ink container, wherein one end of the ink injection channel is an ink inlet end while the other end is an ink outlet end connected with the ink cartridge to be refilled; a sucking opening connected with the aspirator is formed on the suction channel; and the inlet end is disposed above the ink level surface of the ink container. Therefore, the ink in the ink container cannot be overflowed via the ink injection channel regardless of the environmental factors, and thus the technical problem that the phenomenon of ink splash tends to occur when the traditional negative-pressure ink cartridge refilling device is used by a user for the first time can be solved.

Abstract

An inkjet printer, which comprises a slide lid slideably connected with the cartridge body, wherein a fixed clamp is formed on both sides of the cartridge body respectively; a movable wall which is engaged and fastened with the fixed clamp at the end is formed on both sides of the slide lid respectively; and a friction force generating component is arranged on one side of the movable wall. Due to the friction forces generated by the friction force generating components, two sidewalls of the movable walls are tightly engaged with the inner wall of the ink cartridge bin of the printer to lock the ink cartridge and fix the ink cartridge into the ink cartridge bin of the printer. The technical problems of poor contact of a chip and abnormal disengagement of an ink container as locking members are loosened when the ink cartridge on the printer can be solved.

Abstract

The invention relates to an ink cartridge, an ink cartridge set and an ink cartridge determination system. The invention comprises a first signal blocking section and a second signal blocking section, wherein the second signal blocking section is a movable component and is in an initial ink cartridge installation detection position before detection, and the initial ink cartridge installation detection position determines whether or not the second signal blocking section prevents a second signal from passing through the second signal blocking section or changes the path of the second signal. That is to say, different ink cartridges can be distinguished by different initial ink cartridge installation detection positions of the movable second signal blocking section.

Abstract

The invention relates to an ink cartridge for an ink jet printer. The ink cartridge comprises a cartridge body and a detection mechanism for detecting the ink cartridge and residual quantity of ink, wherein the cartridge body comprises an ink tank for storing ink, an ink outlet for supplying ink to a printing head of the printer and an air inlet, the ink tank comprises a first ink chamber and a second ink chamber, a first negative pressure mechanism and a second negative pressure mechanism are arranged between the first ink chamber and the second cavity, the first negative pressure mechanism and the second negative pressure mechanism cooperatively control the ink inside the first ink chamber to be consumed preferentially than the ink inside the second ink chamber, and the second negative pressure mechanism generates negative pressure when a certain quantity of ink inside the ink tank is used for printing. Since negative pressure inside the ink tank is not generated until the used ink inside the ink tank reaches a certain quantity, i.e., negative pressure is generated only in case that the residual quantity of ink is small in the end, the technical problem that constant negative pressure in the process of using the ink cartridge leads to the damage and deformation of the parts inside the ink cartridge which impact on the quality of printing can be avoided.

Abstract

The invention relates to a cartridge for ink-jet printer, comprising a cartridge body, a protective cover moving relatively to the cartridge body under pressure and a detection mechanism for cartridge and remaining ink volume, wherein the detection mechanism for cartridge and remaining ink volume includes the first and second detecting members respectively matching to the first and second sensors on the printer as well as a soft support cap set on the cartridge body and communicating to the ink storage chamber, of which the said second detecting member includes a movable lever, a fixed shaft set on the cartridge body, and a position adjustment member for the movable lever set on the protective cover. The said movable lever is connected with the rotating shaft of the cartridge body through the fixed shaft. It not only meets the detection requirement for cartridge and remaining ink volume, but also removes the movable lever in the ink storage chamber, greatly simplifying production processes and promoting identification accuracy.

Abstract

The invention relates to a cartridge for ink-jet printer, comprising a cartridge body, a protective cover moving relatively to the cartridge body under pressure, a detection mechanism for cartridge and a detection mechanism for remaining ink volume, wherein the detection mechanism for cartridge includes the first and second detecting units respectively matching to the first and second sensors on the printer. The said second detecting unit includes a shelter unit, a fixed shaft set on the cartridge body, a sliding shaft on the protective cover and a reset unit of the shelter unit, wherein the shelter unit connects with the rotating shaft of the fixed shaft, rotates around the fixed shaft under the pressure of the sliding shaft and resets together with the protective cover under the effect of the reset unit of the shelter unit. It is the shelter unit rather than the movable lever at the middle of the detection mechanism for remaining ink volume that finally shelters from the light emitted by the emission unit of the second sensor, so it will not be influenced by remaining ink volume.

Abstract

An ink cartridge for an inkjet printer is provided. The ink cartridge includes a light detection portion, a first triangular prism and a second triangular prism, made of transparent material and disposed on the light detection portion, for receiving, deflecting, or refracting light emitted by a light emitting element on the printer. Two surfaces of the second triangular prism contact ink in the ink cartridge. When the ink cartridge has ink contained therein and is installed into a printer, the light emitted by the light emitting element is totally reflected by the first triangular prism and refracted by the second triangular prism into the ink, and will not be received by a light receiving element on the printer. When the ink in the ink cartridge is exhausted, the light is totally reflected by the second triangular prism onto the first triangular prism, and then is reflected onto the light receiving element, and thus the printer detects that the ink is exhausted.

Abstract

A protector for a print head chip and an ink cartridge used by the same are provided. The protector (1, 8) for a print head chip is independent from an ink cartridge (9) for storing ink. A contact surface (3) of the protector for a print head chip facing a print head contact is provided with contacts (6) for contacting corresponding contacts of the print head chip. The contact is connected to a memory (5) and sealed between the contacts of the print head chip and the protector for a print head chip. The protector has no structural relation to the ink cartridge, especially an ink supply port (11) and an ink supply needle of the ink cartridge. Therefore, even if the ink cartridge oscillates or moves horizontally to deviate from a centerline of the ink supply port, a communication effect is not influenced.

Abstract

A seal part for an ink cartridge of an inkjet printer including a seal end for sealing an ink outlet port of the ink cartridge is provided. The seal part is column-shaped, a cylindrical cavity exists inside the seal part, and a diameter of the cavity is greater than a diameter of an ink supply needle of the printer. The seal end for sealing the ink output port of the ink cartridge is a cylindrical surface, or is a cylindrical surface having at least a circle of sealing flange. One end surface is a closed plane for preventing the ink from flowing out from the ink outlet port after the ink cartridge is detached from the printer, and the other end surface is a plane with an aperture in the center. The size of the aperture is adequate to seal the ink supply needle of the printer. The seal part seals the ink supply needle of the printer after the ink cartridge is installed in the printer, and prevents the ink leakage after the ink cartridge is detached from the printer.
