Abstract

[Problem] To enable multi-point vibration measurement by means of a simple and cheap configuration. [Solution] According to the present invention, an interference signal generation unit generates continuous light, splits the continuous light into two beams of probe light and reference light, frequency-shifts any one among the probe light and the reference light, transmits the probe light to a multi-port input and output unit, generates an interference signal by coherently detecting scattered light and the reference light, and transmits the interference signal to a digital signal generation unit. The multi-port input and output unit outputs the probe light from first to N-th irradiation-side input and output ports (where N is an integer of 2 or greater) at a prescribed time interval, irradiates first to N-th objects to be measured, receives the scattered light scattered by the first to N-th objects to be measured, and transmits the scattered light to the interference signal generation unit. The digital signal generation unit samples the interference signal at a prescribed sampling frequency and converts the sampled signals into digital signals, and a signal processing unit acquires a phase change in the interference signal from the digital signals to calculate vibrations of the first to N-th objects to be measured.

Abstract

Without incorporating an expensive device, this invention uses signal processing to prevent fading from causing accuracy degradation. This invention comprises: a light source unit that produces optical pulses as probe light, a light reception unit that produces a beat signal through coherent detection of signal light produced by an object of measurement as a result of the probe light, and a computation unit that receives the beat signal. The computation unit comprises a light information acquisition means, accuracy degradation prevention means, and phase difference information acquisition means. For each optical pulse, the light information acquisition means acquires, from the beat signal, the distribution of the intensity I(tj) and phase P(tj) of the signal light in relation to the light reception time tj of the signal light. The accuracy degradation prevention means sets a reference time ST. The phase difference information acquisition means acquires a phase difference for the light reception time tj of the signal light as the phase difference P(tk) - P(ti) between the light reception time tk, where tk > tj > ti and the difference between tk and ti is the reference time ST, and the light reception time ti and acquires the distribution of the phase difference in relation to the light reception time of the signal light.

Abstract

In the present invention, a light intensity acquisition unit acquires the intensity of output light resulting from the backscattering of probe light in an optical fiber. An OTDR waveform acquisition means sequentially acquires and stores OTDR waveforms that are the waveforms of the output light for each optical pulse sent from the light intensity acquisition unit. A moving average acquisition means acquires and stores a kth moving average waveform by averaging kth to (k + M - 1)th temporally continuous OTDR waveforms. A differential waveform acquisition means acquires a differential waveform p'(x) for a (k + M + N)th OTDR waveform and the kth moving average waveform. A position-specific statistical information acquisition means acquires a sample average μ(x) and a standard deviation σ(x) for each position of kth to (k + i - 1)th (where i is an integer greater than or equal to 2) differential waveforms. A degree-of-abnormality acquisition means calculates the degrees of abnormality at each position. An abnormality determination means determines whether there has been abnormal vibration on the basis of the values of the degrees of abnormality, and when there has been abnormal vibration, acquires the position at which the abnormal vibration occurred.

Abstract

According to the present invention, in a switch part (63) of a lower conveyance part (21) included in a paper currency deposit/withdrawal device (10) of an automated teller device (1), lower side rollers (132, 142) have a larger diameter than upper side rollers (131, 141) yet a lower side roller-central shaft distance (L134) is shorter than an upper side roller-central shaft distance (L133). For a blade plate (122) of a blade (101) in the switch part (63), a short blade endpoint distance (L124) is shorter than a long blade endpoint distance (L123) and is also shorter than the lower side roller-central shaft distance (L134). Thus, in the switch part (63), a gap between the blade (101) and a pair of conveyance rollers (107) can be made longer than a typical configuration, enabling a significant improvement in the degrees of freedom of design.

Abstract

In the present invention, the interval between a side guide and an outer impeller is shorter than the length in the height direction between a discharge opening and the top surface of an uppermost banknote placed on a stage. Due to this configuration, one end in the width direction of a banknote positioned between the side guide and the outer impeller can be prevented from reaching the height of the discharge opening even if the one end is deformed so as to be folded toward the discharge opening side. As a result, a situation in which the one end of the banknote collides with a subsequent banknote to be discharged from the discharge opening causing a banknote jam can be avoided.

Abstract

The present invention eliminates the instability of sensitivity within an observation time comparable to that in the conventional POTDR. The present invention is configured to be provided with a light source unit, an optical fiber, and a polarization state measurement unit. The light source unit generates probe light by multiplexing a first optical short pulse and a second optical short pulse which have slightly different wavelengths from each other and which have polarization states that are orthogonal to each other. The probe light is inputted in the optical fiber. The polarization state measurement unit extracts waveband components which are respectively equal to the first and second optical short pulses and which are extracted from reflection light resulting from the probe light having been reflected by the optical fiber, measures the polarization states of the respective waveband components, and detects vibrations on the basis of temporal changes of the measured polarization states.
