A first device obtains sidelink control information of sidelink transmissions with feedback associated with a same feedback occasion of the first device. The first device further obtains respective values of at least one channel access parameter associated with the feedback of the sidelink transmissions based on the sidelink control information. The first device further determines a value of the at least one channel access parameter for transmitting the feedback of the sidelink transmissions on the same feedback occasion of the first device as a function of the respective values of the at least one channel access parameter. In this way, the sidelink feedback transmission can be enhanced.

Abstract

A UE is configured to receive a set of repetitions of a downlink message from a base station and attempt to decode the DL message after receiving one or more of the repetitions. If decoding is successful, then the UE transmits an uplink message (e.g., a HARQ-ACK) indicating successful decoding. If decoding is not successful, then the UE does not transmit an uplink message indicating unsuccessful decoding. If the set is not completed, then the UE receives one or more additional repetitions and again attempts to decode the DL message. If the base station receives the UL message indicating successful decoding before transmitting all of the repetitions in the set, then the base station stops transmitting repetitions. For half-duplex UEs with HARQ feedback processing disabled, upon successful decoding, the UE switches from downlink mode to uplink mode to transmit the uplink message, thereby avoiding processing of subsequently received repetitions for that same downlink message.

Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to transmission reception point (TRP) adaptation for network energy efficiency. A terminal device receives, from a network device, a configuration for configuring one or more timers corresponding to one or more TRPs for the terminal device. The terminal device starts or restarts a timer of the one or more timers based on one or more transmissions or receptions associated with a corresponding TRP of the one or more TPRs. The terminal device determines that the TRP is muted based on expiry of the timer. In this way, with expiry of the timer corresponding to the TRP, the terminal device may determine or assume status of the TRP without a need to receive indications from the network, thereby enabling the dynamic TRP adaptation without increasing downlink control overhead.

Abstract

A network node able to communicate with a UE in a wireless network determines dynamic resource allocation. A single message for the allocation schedules resources on multiple periodic shared channels for the UE to use. The network node transmits the dynamic resource allocation toward the UE. The network node transmits or receives the resources on the multiple periodic shared channels according to the dynamic resource allocation. A UE receives, from a network node in a wireless network, a single message comprising a dynamic resource allocation that schedules multiple periodic shared channels for the UE to use. The UE transmits or receives the multiple periodic shared channels according to the dynamic resource allocation.
