A belt engaging member covers the lever region capturing the first lever therein. If a second retention mechanism is used, another lever with a tab portion is positioned so the tabs are stacked, depressing one also depresses the tab behind it, such that both mechanisms are released. Overmolded polymer layers in the holster body provides a softer interior handgun engagement surfaces. The holster body is split forwardly with a threaded fastener for clamping onto the handgun. No holster body is beneath or rearward of the tab portion, configured as a thumb button, allowing smooth transition to gripping the handgun.

The hydrodynamic blade defines a fin plane and includes a leading edge, a trailing edge, and a foil surface. The fin further includes a fin retention system with a selective retention system that includes a retainer and an actuator coupled to the retainer via a pivot shaft. The actuator forms a portion of the hydrodynamic blade when the selective retention system is in a locked configuration and is configured to rotate away from the fin plane when the selective retention system transitions from the locked configuration to an unlocked configuration. The retainer is configured to rotate away from the fin plane when the selective retention system transitions from the unlocked configuration to the locked configuration.

Embodiments of the disclosure are directed to a rapid adjust buckle for a rifle sling. The buckle can include a main buckle portion with a pair of side portions and a handle portion extending between the pair of side portions and over the main buckle portion to define a handle aperture. In various embodiments the handle portion and the main buckle portion are a unitary piece composed of a polymer material with the handle portion being flexibly biased towards an uncompressed open shape such that the handle portion is configured to compress against the main buckle portion in response to a compressing force but return to the uncompressed open shape when the compressing force is relieved. In one or more embodiments the handle portion includes a plurality of jointed connection points configured to flatten the profile of the handle portion when the handle portion is exposed to the compressing force.
