Abstract

The invention relates to method for producing a number of dental models for producing dental restorations. According to the invention, such a method is proposed which has the following steps: providing or producing a molded part with a number of recesses, each of which receives a dental framework and a modeling composition; positioning each dental framework in one of the recesses; introducing modeling composition, preferably wax, into the number of recesses; curing the modeling composition in the number of recesses; and machining each cured modeling composition such that a respective dental model results, the outer contour of which corresponds to the outer contour of one of the dental restoration to be produced. The invention also relates to a method for producing dental restorations and to a molded part.

Abstract

The invention relates to a device for producing products having individual geometries, comprising a substrate carrier device, a material application device for applying material, preferably above the substrate carrier device, which material application device can be moved relative to the substrate carrier device, and a control device which is coupled to the material application device for signalling. According to the invention, the material application device is coupled to an input interface for signalling and for selection of a first or a second application mode, the control device and the application device being designed such as to produce, in the first application mode, a three-dimensional product on the surface of a substrate plate by way of an additive production method, said substrate plate being connected to the substrate carrier device. According to the additive production method, a curable material is applied in consecutive layers, one or more predetermined regions are selectively cured after or during each application of a layer, the predetermined regions being bonded to one or more regions of the underlying layer. The predetermined region(s) is/are predetermined by a cross-section geometry of the product in the respective layer and is/are stored in the control device, and the curable material is applied in a plurality of consecutive layers to produce the three-dimensional product. The control device and the application device are further designed such that in the second mode of application one or more colors are applied to predetermined regions of a print substrate material connected to the substrate carrier device to produce a monochrome or polychrome print.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing products having individual geometries, in particular dental prostheses or auxiliary dental parts, comprising the steps of producing a plurality of products on the surface of a substrate plate by means of selective hardening, in particular by means of selective sintering or melting, the material being applied in consecutive layers, after the application of each layer one or a plurality of predetermined regions of the applied layer being selectively hardened by means of high-energy radiation and bonded to one or a plurality of regions of the layer therebeneath, the predetermined regions being predetermined in the respective layer on the basis of a cross-sectional geometry of the product. According to the invention, a substrate plate is provided which is divided into a first substrate plate segment and at least one further substrate plate segment, said segments being detachably connected to each other or to a base carrier, a first product being produced on the first substrate plate segment by consecutive application of material layers onto the first substrate plate segment and selective hardening of predetermined regions of each material layer that is applied after the application thereof, and at least one further product being produced on the at least one further substrate plate segment by consecutive application of material layers onto the further substrate plate segment and selective hardening of predetermined regions of each material layer that is applied after the application thereof. The invention further relates to a device for carrying out such a method.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a product in layers, comprising the following steps: (a) a layer of a curable material is applied; (b) predetermined zones of the applied layer are selectively cured on the basis of geometrical data of the product; (c) steps (a) and (b) are repeated until the geometry of the product has been obtained as a cured material; (d) the uncured material is removed. According to the invention, in steps (a) and (b), a finish allowance, e.g. one that has a wedge-shaped cross-section, is applied to at least one planar section of a contour of the product in one, two, or more product sections in which an angle (alpha) between an axis running perpendicular to the layers and said at least one planar section exceeds a predetermined value, said finish allowance being applied such that the angle (gamma) between the axis running perpendicular to the layers and the external surface in said product section does not exceed the predetermined value.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing products by means of an at least partly layered structure, in particular using selective laser melting. Said method comprises the following steps: (a) a base plate is provided; (b) a layer of a curable material is applied; (c) predetermined zones of the applied layer are selectively cured on the basis of the geometrical data of the product; (d) steps (b) and (c) are repeated until the geometry of a first partial volume of the product has been obtained as a cured material; (e) the uncured material is removed. According to the invention, a reference mark is provided, the unit formed by the base plate and the first volume zones is clamped in a specific position determined by means of the reference mark, and the second partial volume of each product is exposed on the base plate, preferably in a machining process, especially a CNC milling process.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing layer by layer a product (10), said method comprising the following steps: applying a layer of a curable material, whereby process parameters, such as layer thickness, layer material, can be adjusted, selectively curing predetermined areas of the applied layer (11) in accordance with the geometrical data of the product, whereby process parameters, such as energy form and energy input, can be adjusted, and repeating these steps until the geometry of the product as a cured material is completed, and finally removing the non-cured material. Known methods have the disadvantage that they offer no variability with respect to the local properties of the product. The invention remedies this disadvantage by modifying at least one process parameter during manufacture in order to influence the particle size in a first area of the product compared to a second area of the product.
