Abstract
A handguard assembly for a firearm is provided, comprising a handguard configured to overlie a barrel of the firearm in spaced relationship, the handguard comprising a plurality of apertures; a rail segment including a plurality of mounting bosses, each of the plurality of mounting bosses located in a different one of the plurality of apertures of the handguard; a plurality of rotatable fasteners to fasten the rail segment to the handguard, each of the rotatable fasteners located in a different one of the mounting bosses of the rail segment; and each of the rotatable fasteners comprising a mounting latch to mount the rail segment to the handguard, each mounting latch rotatable from an aperture insertion position overlying a top of the boss to a mounting position overlying the handguard.

Abstract
A muzzle device for a firearm comprising a body having a barrel mounting portion and a combustion gas receiving portion, wherein the barrel mounting portion is arranged to mount the muzzle device to a muzzle end of a barrel of the firearm such the combustion gas receiving portion of the muzzle device extends distally from the muzzle end of the barrel, and wherein the combustion gas receiving portion is arranged to capture combustion gas from the barrel of the firearm and provide the combustion gas back to a receiver of the firearm through a combustion gas return tube.

Abstract
A firearm comprising a barrel, a handguard disposed around the barrel; a manually operated pump-action reload mechanism, the pump-action reload mechanism comprising a hand-held actuation arrangement and a fore-end body, the fore-end body disposed around the barrel between the handguard and the barrel, and the hand-held actuation arrangement coupled to the fore-end body to operate the pump-action reload mechanism. In addition, or alternatively, the firearm may include a bolt carrier locking mechanism and/or a butt stock that may be folded on either side of the receiver.
